Have to say I am pretty optimistic about the PS. There aren't really any veterans there, it's all young guys who need some development. I had high hopes for guys like Dippre and Swinson; they have not hit those marks yet but they're still here so maybe they'll get there. Truman Jones, John Jiles, Jeremiah Webb, Miles Battle, Gee Scott, Kobee Minor, Cam Riley, Jahvaree Ritzie, Jack Conley have all looked good at various points.

I am guessing if Baker clears waivers, they'll dump someone else off their PS and put him on it.

Edit: As Mike Reiss points out in above post, they actually have 1 spot open still due to the international pathways program.
A little unusual for them to only have guys from camp and no external players.

Edit: Wrong thread

It’s not my money to spend I wanted Ridley, he was a upgrade over what we had.

And it was depressing when people kept turning our offers down.

For sure.

Aiyuk, it was more a meh for me coming off that injury and his game I didn’t think would really elevate us.

Aiyuk wasn’t coming off the injury, he signed a new deal and then got hurt.

Grrr! No Lampkin!

I read somewhere that ravens have 74% of team composition of 53 players coming in from their own draft . I e only 26% are players drafted by other teams . Contrast that with pats probably 60-70% are drafted by other teams.

I'll bet they have been like that since 98 when Ozzie Newsome took over. Been gone from that role since 2018 but obviously left people there who continued the excellent evaluating.

Reminds me of the time Jimmy Johnson told some kid in the middle of a pre-season game "Got any friends and family in Miami, son? Call 'em up and tell them you just made the Miami Dolphins."

Saw this, went to main page looking for quarterback controversy thread, came back disappointed.

I guess it'll take Felger and Mazz to plant that seed and get the juices flowing.

Till then, let's just enjoy our serving of Tommy Cutlets!

Getting some chicken parm tonight to celebrate.

Interesting, we can take a look at this. I assume they’re counting UDFAs as draftees.

QB (3): Maye, Dobbs, DeVito
RB (3): Stevenson, Henderson, Gibson
WR (6): Diggs, Hollins, Douglas, Williams, Boutte, Chism
TE (3): Henry, Hooper, Westover
OL (9): Campbell, Wilson, Bradbury, Onwenu, Moses, Bryant, Brown, Lowe, Wallace
DL (5): Barmore, Williams, Tonga, Farmer, Pharms
EDGE (5): Landry, Chaisson, White, Jennings, Ponder
LB (4): Spillane, Elliss, Gibbens, Mapu
CB (6): Gonzalez, Davis, Jones, Austin, James, Woods
S (5): Dugger, Peppers, Woodson, Hawkins, Pettus
ST(4): Borregales, Baringer, Ashby, Schooler

I’m counting 29 in bold who are home-grown (giving benefit of doubt on Pharms - undrafted, UFL for a few years). 54.7% drafted/post-draft signings by Pats, 45.3% from other teams.

also they have the largest amount of scouts and execs than any team in the- NFL. As opposed to the Patriots which has had the smallest group

I made the mistake of tuning into Felgar and Mazz in the car and that big bald douche bag Jim Murray opens the show by stating that KB’s trade request was a major red flag for the overall health of the Patriots organization, because if he felt good about the quarterback and the direction of the team that he would want to stay. All three of those boobs completely ignored the multiple reports from earlier in the day by credible sources, including Reiss, stating that the only reason that Bourne made the initial 53 was the potential of a trade with Minny.

Bourne and his agent likely knew that he was going to be cut if that deal fell through and so they put that report out about him requesting his release before he was officially released, to try to save face….which is why Vrabel made that statement comparing it to getting dumped by a girlfriend. It’s so pathetic the way that they blatantly just manufacture controversies, in order to fill air time.

It's even more pathetic that they have an audience for such content, presumably too dumb or lazy to find some decent podcasts to listen to instead.
