The reason being he's better and younger and more of a system fit than Josh Dobbs, Josh Dobbs is completely horrendous.

If Maye misses a game or two at least DeVito can scramble around and make a few plays, that's all your want from a backup this veteran mentor role of Brissett last year and Dobbs is a bunch of BS, what is Dobbs gonna teach Drake? How to suck?

You want your backup to be able to function for a couple of games and keep you afloat that's all you can ask, we're screwed either way if Drake is hurt long term.

True, but it also means that the defending SB champions, who have been in 2 of the last 3 SB and don’t have a star QB carrying them, and who are widely acknowledged to have the best OL in football, thinks that he’s something.

I’m hoping my football team is up there with the best front offices like the Eagles, not just a part of the other 31. Being part of the other 31 may be good enough for bend over Bob, but i’d like more.

Ok, I’m done venting about him. He’s a long shot and odds say is likely not going to amount to anything in the league. But I thought he was a long shot worth taking a flyer on given what we’ve actually seen him do to date. Oh well, water under the bridge now.

I love it! Kid is good, better than Dobbs, and young. He can be the backup for a long time, and will be loved by fans. He and Maye will get along great. If Maye gets hurt, he will be able to hold down the fort fine. He has pretty solid familiarity with the scheme coming from Daboll's offense. Really happy they did this.

I think Baker CAN become a good NFL WR if he keeps working on his route running. It'll take a couple years. If he can keep being a gunner in the mean time, he can make it. He'll also probably be pretty handy emulating other team's top WR on the scout team.
