You can argue the bottom 20% of our roster is PS guys. Thanks to dog **** drafts the last 3-4 years that is the current state
I'm hoping at some point we won't need to ask PS caliber guys like Trey Jacobs to get starting snaps

This is one of the big days, like first day of FA or draft day.
That's what I was telling myself yesterday. Today what I am telling myself is all we are doing is deciding who the 53rd best player on our roster is, and if we'd be better off replacing that player with some other team's guy who wasn't one of their 53 best players.

Wonder if Wooldridge will make the PS or be grabbed by some team. Think it's 50-50
Hoping for the latter: some other Team grabs him.

I think they will be able to upgrade their depth somewhat over the next week and a half, but people need to realize that this isn’t going to be a deep team this season. Overall they have strengthened their starting units substantially, but you can’t rebuild a 53 man roster that was the worst in football in 6 months. They will cut down the WR’s and pick up some back ups for the interior OL, and probably a linebacker when all is said and done, but I have no idea who it will be.

Have anything useful to contribute yourself or you just going to complain about the complainer every 2 minutes?

I'm on step 1 right now. Identifying the problem. Step 2 is solving it and I did post a couple names in the notable names thread but I haven't seen a lot of solutions suggested there either. Which just highlights the problem further.

Unlike you I work. And you aren’t identifying anything, you are just whining.

With roughly 30 new faces on the 53 man roster ( usually it was 15-17 during dynasty years) considering the dearth of talent when Vrabel took over, it will take another year to build depth to a respectable level.

Last year we had some PS caliber players starting at key positions. This year, they are on the back end of the roster, and with luck we may be able to replace them with some roster-worthy developmental depth.

Agree. They'll continue to iterate on the roster. It's going to take a couple seasons to get the talent level to a point where the quality of depth is NFL caliber.

Opens up spot for QB, TE or OL.

Baker likely next.

There we go.

I'm guessing they kept him hoping to find a trading partner but couldn't or couldn't find one to their liking. Per overthecap.com, only a $2.8 dead money hit.
