The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

No I'm giving him his credit, Brady, Belichick and Kraft were clearly carried by him
I've never even come close to making that kind of statement about Bill's time in NYG. Just simply pointing out the facts when you guys bring up what he's done without Brady. Facts are he win multiple Superbowls before Tom. And as I know you've seen Bill is quite proud of his time with NYG if you need a reminder see the 30 for 30 Two Bill's. And I'm positive RAC would take it as an insult if you tried to say he never accomplished anything in the NFL. That's all I've ever painted out about Bill. The rest is in your imagination.

No, it was one magical player… who played 23 years but only won 7 rings. Shouldn’t he have more like 20 or 15 at least?

Just for reference, Jeff Hostetler, Nick Foles nor Carson Wentz could hold down a starting job after those championships… but they’re amazing Super Bowl caliber QB’s?

Sounds legit….
Patriots never win a SB. Brady goes there and they insantly win and have a dynasty despite massive turn over. Tampa Bay doesn't win a SB in nearly two decades and is historically one of the losingest sports franchises. Brady goes there and wins a SB right away.

Bill Belichick has 1 playoff win in 11 years without Brady.

Funny how that works out.

OMG the Brown's team that Belichick coached moved to Cleveland and won the 2000 SB. ************. Learn the game
With BB’s GM, his scouting department and prospects. Oh yeah… and Joe Flacco… who is also another amazing superstar QB. Dig yourself a little deeper.

You're the only person who cares about what he did as a defensive coordinator in the context of this discussion, and I doubt RAC gives a **** what a bunch of fans online are arguing over.

Brady sat for a year… it wasn’t instant.

He needed to add about 15-20 pounds of muscle and learn how not to turn the ball over… which he did a fair amount of in 2001. He really started improving in 2003… year four.

1. I'm talking about the 2000 Ravens. Flacco didn't even come into the league until 2005.
2. The 2000's Ravens only had like 2 players left over from Bill's tenure. It had nothing to do with him.

Holy **** you are so lost in the sauce you are confusing yourself

Trent Dilfer… arguably the worst starting QB in league history to win a ring. Tou
can’t win. History isn’t on your side.

Brady was winning in college, was winning on the Patriots, was winning in Tampa.

Belichick was losing in Cleveland, was losing before Brady started on the Patriots, was losing when Brady left on the Patriots.

Brady was a part time starter in college.

Your argument is basically the same as saying Mahomes is better than Brady since Brady only has one playoff win since 2/8/21 and Mahomes has multiple SB wins in that same time frame.

And an all time great defense that Bill Belichick had nothing to do with. Talent is king and the Ravens were stacked. They had who you call the greatest coach ever and were losers with him because the team sucked. They get loaded with talent and they win without that coach.

Again funny how that works. It's almost like this isn't Pop Warner and talent actually is the difference maker.

Belichick was losing in Cleveland, was losing before Brady started on the Patriots, was losing when Brady left on the Patriots.
Why does Bill have more SB rings than Brady then?

No there's actually no logical congruency between what I said and you what you are saying. Brady has won everywhere he went. Belichick has not.

@signbabybrady by your logic Josh McDaniels is a better HC than Andy Reid since we can count his coordinator and assistant rings.

BB is the winningest GM/Coach in NFL history genius.

Also Bob gave Tom his free agency rights… not Bill. Tom chose to leave, his choice.

Nothing lasts forever, stop acting like a man child.
Genius, take a look at his post Brady colossal disaster. Of course you choose to ignore that portion
Wrong!!! Bill told Kraft he did not believe Brady would be successful past 42. That is on your cradle robbing horny hero

Because before he got carried by the GOAT QB he got carried by the GOAT defensive player. Talent.
You've cracked the code get the greatest coach of all time talent and you win a lot of Superbowls. Step 2 let's find some talent and a great coach. And that's where you also need a great GM......hmmm Bill was the greatest GM of all time too.

Bill has 6 as a head coach, even more with his coordinator rings… and was long considered the most brilliant defensive mind in football by non Patriots fans.
