THIS IS OUR LIVE GAME DAY THREAD:

This is where we gather to follow things on Game Day. Obviously, emotions tend to be high so if anyone gets a little crazy, the use of the “Mute” button is encouraged on anyone who may be annoying to you to control your experience and to allow the moderators to also enjoy the game.

At the same time, please take a deep breath before over-reacting for the sake of making this a pleasant experience for everyone.

Lastly, we have never allowed promoting the use of any illegal streaming. This is illegal and will be enforced by copyright holders, which puts this site at risk. DO NOT POST ANY LINKS to those platforms.

This also means, there absolutely cannot be any mention these platforms, spaces, special characters, etc. - so do not get creative in trying to work around this request.

If you do you will have your account suspended.

I do not have the means to deal with legal issues and have already been contacted previously, so this absolutely needs to be adhered to. If you see any illegal links, please report them so a mod can remove them.

This is the best game he's played since 2023.
Is he a starter? No. But in my opinion, he was never good as a full time starter. He's shined when he was able to trust other guys to cover deep and just free him up to hunt for the ball and make big plays.

If Peppers and Woodson can be a solid starting duo, and probably Hawkins behind them, then Dugger can be used situationally which is best for him. He's way overpaid for that role, but the salary is guaranteed this year anyway so it's a sunk cost - may as well use him well. But I also understand the coaches putting him out there in uncomfortable positions to see how he handles it. He's seemed to progress, which helps his chances of sticking.

No 46 has been getting tossed around all night.

I got Woodson, Hawkins, Peppers, Duggers, and "Schooler" as our safeties.
Pettus is probably a good PS player if he doesn't get a chance to sign on someone else's 53.

Shouldn’t have come down to it, but Dugger was caught overshooting outside on the last cut leading to the TD. Probably his worst play of the night. But lots of bad plays by others which led to his needing to be involved to begin with.

I'm not sure he even makes the PS at this point.
Yeah, his one saving grace was good ST play, but that has been suspect today too... That said, Vrabel seems to like him so he may still get a bit of leash.

I can't believe I've stayed up for this. Currently 3:18 am.
Hope you’ve got tomorrow off. Hate to explain to the boss that you’re late because you were watching the last preseason American football game…

Tuesday can't come quickly enough.
