Exactly Cousin! Fair dea;lfor everyone. You still have to pay him remember.

Haha I was joking Cousin, but I’m not opposed to it..

Not interested unless we go all in.

You don't just trade for him He makes you better for a very short time. 2-3 years and will have a high cost. If you trade for him you also trade for an IOL. And you go all in on the next 2-3 years.

Want to take a moment to make fun of Chris Ballard, if he makes this move:

They have spent SEVEN draft picks on defensive ends in the last eight drafts with a 1st or 2nd round pick, yet still have a need at the position.

Interesting that the 3 teams quoted as interested rank highly in the Who’s Who list of poorly run franchises. Makes me think twice about acquiring him.

On that note, I bet after seeing how “well” their offense is performing in camp, Woody Johnson’s grandkids orchestrate a trade and extension for Hendrickson to be a Jet….

Nothing… we have plenty of pass rush.

Trade White, Jennings and a 3rd. Or White, Strange and a 3rd.
I would trade White and he might be enticing. I doubt they care for Jennings or Strange. Maybe Jennings if he fits the scheme there.
Hendrickson would give this team the biggest lift on defense, a potential 20 sack guy for at least the next 2 years.

He’s coming off a season in which he led the league with 17 1/2 sacks, finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting and was named a first-team All-Pro. I mean the drop off fro him from last year should be minimal.

Without knowing what it would take, trade and contract, hard to say but White and multiple picks after rounnd 2 no problem.

Ideally Vrabel wants to rush 4 and get pressure. Barmore, Williams and Trey would do the trick.

Too rich.

Keion and a fifth, or Dugger and a fifth, at most.
Duggar is on the bubble and has a high cap number, so packaging him with White is a good idea.

I liked sending Dugger to unload cap space for signing Hendrickson. The fly in the ointment is how much he wants.

Maybe White and Duggar? Duggar is on the bubble and carries a high cap number. Add the extra 4th we have from the Chiefs?

Hendrickson, Williams, Barmore, and Landry. One of the best DL in football. Build out the OL next year in FA and the draft. Maye explodes in his 3rd pro year with a great OL and DL.

In like that as our best and final offer, but start by offering a fifth or even a sixth instead of the fourth. White plus Dugger is a pretty rich deal already. Gives them a highly talented albeit underperforming edge rusher with two years left on rookie deal to replace Henderson, plus a better than average albeit somewhat expensive starting safety. They should have the cap space to absorb Dugger since they’re not covering Hendrickson’s new contract.

I see deals being offered but what are you willing to pay him because that will have to be part of the deal. I’m not sure if it’s been leaked on what he’s asking the Bengals for.

Hendrickson was racking up sacks all by himself in Cincy. He'd be an awesome addition here.

You have to consider what it would cost to sign Hendrickson to a long term contract.

Hendrickson is due to make $16 million this year. The Bengals, we’ve heard, have offered roughly $28 million per year. Whatever the amount (and, as importantly, the structure), he wants more.

A team coming off a 4-13 season is not one that should be looking to sign 31-year players to this type of contract.
That kind of deal is for genuine super bowl contenders that went to the playoffs the previous season.

If the Patriots are to trade for a player, it should be an offensive lineman.

What has Big Shot Hendrickson won to date? Hes HAD 1 of the BEST QBS, 2 of the BEST WRS, and he hasn't won #JackShit.

Wants 35-40m per year at 30yo.

Ya, I'll pass.

I’d trade F-ton for Hendrickson and a third.

Hendrickson wants one last 3 or 4 year high paying deal after which he will drop his price and chase SBs on one year deals. Most SB teams are paying a high priced QB, so it is tough to find one that can afford Hendrickson.
