"Unstoppable RPO" could be the "bowling ball with knives" of the current era.

For there to be an "Unstoppable RPO" the defense has to fear the pass, and with Fields they don't.

I watched the highlight of NYG-NYJ and gotta say wunderkind Garret Wilson looked like ass, dropped some catchable balls.

I think the whole "Sauce and Wilson will carry us through" narrative is laughable.

As usual NY athletes are over-rated and the team as a whole lacks talent everywhere, including the coaching staff.
My way to early prediction but I'm getting Mayo Vibes from Glenn. I'm not sure he's ready for that mess.

The Jete defense could be very good with decent coaching. But, they likely will be demoralized by an inept offense. Just when we thought Jete suckage couldn't get worse, this could be a banner year.

I wonder if Jete fans understand that football is a team sport and that coaching matters.

Nope, all that Sewer York sports fans understand is having Super-duper-Stars and Bright Lights and Loud Noises and Me-Me-Me...

****ing scum, the lot of them.

Too bad the shooter forgot which floor on 345 Park Avenue the league's HQ was located.

No one is ready for that mess. That said, Mayo vibes is a little extreme; whatever competence Glenn may have had is being sucked away by that vortex in the swamp. He may be able to recover from it somewhat once he’s fully removed and decontaminated, like how Bowles somewhat recovered with time.

Something, something…a fatted calf

A bit of googling shows that every coach hired by NYJ going back to Parcells was an assistant or coordinator. Even Sexy Rexy and Herm The Germ were only coordinators when hired. Parcells was the last person with NFL head coaching experience they hired, and "Parcells' record as the team's head coach was 29-19-0, making him the most successful head coach in New York Jets history". Guess they didn't want more of that?

To me it feels the Jete have been getting reruns of the Mayo experience. Not sure why this is. Maybe no desirable ex-HC wants to work for Woody. We know BB didn't. Or maybe they understand the depth of the cultural suckage and don't want to risk their career.

Pretty much none of those ex-NYJ coaches have gone on to greatness. Bowles was Arians' assistant during the Brady Super Bowl and after Arians moved on he been pretty mediocre, IMO.

You forgot about Adam Gase.

Jets fans would like to forget about Adam Gase.

I believe Bugeyes Gase is coaching high school football in the Midwest.

Worse than Rich Kotite?

The Jets fans are despondent over QB Justin Fields. Had a grand total of one completion in the preseason game against the Giants.

He doesn't have the mental processing speed. So he's a one-read, take off running guy.

Not good. There's talk of introducing Brady Cook, the undrafted Missouri rookie QB, into QB2 ahead of injured Tyrod Taylor.

The Jets do have a franchise LT and a strong group on the OL.

It's amazing how the jets keep sucking more each year.

Literally you were the one here yammering about their 'unstoppable RPO'.

The Jets held a players only practice after their loss to the Giants last weekend.

Guys…Anything times zero is still zero.

A players-only PRACTICE?! Or was it just a meeting? A practice without coaches seems unprecedented.
