I think that Vrabel's Defense is better with 5 safeties available. Players do get injured.

I agree & I like Dugger, but I wouldn’t exactly classify his position on the team as “safe” considering his constant demotion & playing late into these games..

I always buy the jersey of the longest tenured Patriot… Bledsoe, Brown, Bruschi, Faulk, Brady, Brady, Slater, Andrews (over Cardona), and now ????

If Dugger gets traded or something,
I might break tradition and go with a Vrabel jersey…..

Feeling like the run is over for Dugger unfortunately. I still think he has value to the team.. but it may be too late at this point. He likely was playing again today in the 4th quarter for other potential suitors in a trade potential.

Agreed. Dugger his game has always been down hill.. he has never been great in space and in coverage.. in an attacking one gap defense you have to be rangy at safety to cover the deep half.. Peppers, Hawkins, Woodson fit that mold better
