One thought: in an actual game, the slot receiver should seldom if ever be covered by the opposing CB1/CB2. If that happens, then somebody is going to have a mismatch.

While the Pats are losing this practice after arguably winning yesterday... oddly i am more encouraged by this one.

Cause the issues they are having right now with losing this practice are things which shouldn't stick long term (D being toasted and Campbell having his worst day in a while... as well as no Wilson in the interior making things harder).

But the good things are encouraging... Diggs and Chism both with their best days. Williams having a much more solid practice. Maye having a nice bounce back day making good decisions and throws. These are things which were important to see.

I agree, against certain top rushers. Then again the majority of Left Tackles should have some help.
Hopefully he's learned a thing or two today that will help him get better.

I think so. Ben Brown was playing out of position at a new spot.... And their center in pass rush situations isn't making things better. Without Wilson the OL falls apart quickly. Brown is a fair back up center but no guard experience. This shows how bad their back up guard situation is. The solution is simply not on the roster right now. Best to admit i now and make a move IMO.

We took a very good aggressive guard at the fourth pick in the the draft.

Vrabel in another pile in the scum today. I feel like that is something a coach shouldn't do more than once though... You do it once and your guys see you as a tough coach who is willing to get in the trenches with you and in your shoes.... You keep doing it you look like you are not the HC of the team. It is something which can get bad fast. A little can be good, too much can be bad.

No one seems to be able to gain much traction and I am starting to fear our coaches are making the same mistake as last year's. Way to much shuffling in an attempt to figure out who the best 5 is instead of having some conviction on who that is and putting them together and leaving them be and work together all summer.
