The #2 IOL is getting destroyed on runs.. Not sure who it is but they haven't helped Watts out at all.

I was curious, so I asked ChatGPT,

is there a difference between twists and stunts in nfl

ChatGPT said:

Yes — in NFL defensive line play, twists and stunts are related concepts, but they’re not exactly the same.

1. Twist

  • A twist is a specific type of stunt involving two defensive linemen (e.g., a defensive tackle and defensive end) exchanging rush lanes after the snap.
  • Example: The defensive tackle crashes outside, and the defensive end loops behind him to rush inside.
  • The goal is to confuse the offensive line’s blocking assignments and create a free rusher.
2. Stunt

  • A stunt is the broader category — any planned movement by defensive linemen or linebackers after the snap to attack a different gap than they initially show.
  • This can involve two or more defenders and can include twists, slants, loops, or more complex patterns.
  • All twists are stunts, but not all stunts are twists.
Quick analogy:

  • A stunt is like the whole “trick play” category in pass rushing.
  • A twist is one specific “trick” within that category.
If you want, I can break down the main types of NFL stunts besides twists so you can see the whole playbook.

Yep our #2 WR again I won't stop saying it.

First, 2nd and 3rd rounders from recent drafts all in danger of being cut (Strange, Polk, Mapu)
U can’t make club from the tub

These picks should be foundational starters,
Your logic seems to be that a 2nd or 3rd rounder from a recent draft should be a foundational starter. OK

You then conclude if the aren't a starter that they should be cut. That simply doesn't follow. If a recent 2nd or 3rd round pick can be a solid backup, then he makes the 53. The fact that we hoped for more is irrelevant.

Those QB's have no clue how to work with real speed. They work better with guys who run like donkeys.
Do QB's adjust on the fly for various receiver speed depending on the target?
