I'm not a big Hollins guy but I'm not just handing WR5 to one of the younger kids just because they are young with more future upside. They have to show something that makes me believe in that future.Why would you want a 32 year old taking up a roster spot to sit on the bench?
To answer your question you keep Hollins if you deem his value to this years team and especially to a young developing QB even if just for 1 year to be more important than keeping a developmental player. Which right now is not very far fetched.
A lot will be determined by how much you want to rely on Williams and even Boutte especially early in the year. They are still developing too and you can't fill the whole WR roster except Diggs with that type of WR.
Right now I don't exactly see Hollins making it but it's not like Polk, Baker, and Chism are making it that hard on Hollins. I need to see more from whichever of these 4 we give that final spot or 2. Based solely on what we see at practice Baker is probably in the lead but not by much and class room work and other stuff probably leans toward the vet Hollins (if it doesn't he has no shot).
