there's a guy on another board who says he knows someone in the organization, and he's come up w/some pretty good advance info in the past to back it up.

he's 95% certain moss will be back, and believes the bulk of the deal has already been worked out.

They can't extend him because he has a one year deal. After the season they can sign him to a new deal, though, and I imagine they the FO and Randy's agent have talked about the parameters.

Of course they have talked about it. The only thing that makes me hesitate in saying that they already have a tentative agreement in place is the everpresent injury concern.
