From what I've seen I agree with most of these notes. I wouldn't have put Ellis in the needs more category. He's more just is who he is and I don't know what more he expects. He's going to make a bunch of tackles and generally be pretty good but I don't think there's much more that we didn't see last year already.

That's actually pretty lame Henderson is not pointing up....and not even on any list. Hard to take these 3 posts seriously with that omission.

It would be similar to projecting the 53 man roster but leaving out Williams at WR

Ellis is a up and coming coverage guy. He had 5 PD's last year...not shabby for an LB who's didn't start too many games. I find it odd Giardi said that.

I think he's more proven than White (at least when clots weren't in the way). We need them both to hit their full potential either way.

@signbabybrady first of we must remember Girardi is a good reporter but he's a skeptical guy.. even when he worked here as a patriots beat reporter the sky was falling and we were hoisting up Lombardis.. Callahan, perry and Curran IMO are the most dialed l in..I've seen nothing negative on white particularly..

The defense has much more talent then last season. Swinson, farmer, have been active in camp from what Perry's stated.

I hope Dugger is part of the team going forward he dealt with a serious ankle issue last season. He's still a good player.

He will be... this season.

But without a massive, MASSIVE contract restructure, fuhgeddabout next season.

Patriots football is back, I hate that Mayos coaching tenure stains my view of him he was a really good linebacker.

Ryan Clady would've been a better OT for us than MayoNays was a LB for us.

Cap agreed.. same for Rham as well. All indication is pointing to Henderson as the feature back.. and that could help rham this season. Taking the load off him.
