You people need to relax. You make it sounds like she was Costanza waiting all her life to respond with the "jerk store" line. Relax. It wasn't 45 minutes of Belichick bashing.

It was a lifetime achievement speech and she talked about her 35 years in the profession and yes, believe it or not, made some light humor of various things she had to deal with over the past 35 years which included the HC of the CB. Half the speech was her giving anecdotes from her career and then throwing in groan-worthy one liners. She threw in zingers at Brandon Weedon and Johnny Manziel too, only those don't make the headlines like the Belichick one did.

I'm rooting for Bill to succeed at UNC and I'm going to be fair in evaluating his success. If he has a mediocre record in year one, he gets a mulligan from me. Nick Saban went 6-6 in his first year at Alabama and suffered a humiliating loss to Louisiana-Monroe. Kirby Smart went 8-5 in his first year at Georgia and lost to Vandy and Georgia Tech. Both programs exploded in year two.

So, if Bill doesn't get UNC into the ACC championship game (or come damn close) in year two then all bets are off.

Penn State's DC makes $3m a year so it's a reasonable sum.

Steven Belichick is a good football coach with a resume that makes that salary reasonable. If it was Brian it would be nepotism, because he hasn’t reached that level of coaching yet.
