Commanders defense was ranked 13th last year. Not knowing the changes that have occurred leading to today I assume they still have a pretty good defense. Todays practice will be a good measuring stick for the offense and young Drake. The Commanders were 7th on offense so we will get a better idea of just how good the defense truly is(would be a better indication if Davis/Gonzo was out there). Great day to gauge the team for the upcoming season.
Without our top dogs at CB it will be hard to gadge as well. As GOOD DJ James and Austin have been they aren't gonzo ans Davis.. also seems Dugger has been running with the second team defense?.. I expect the front 7 to be disruptive as we know Daniels can get outside if the pocket collapses.. these joint practices are much more controlled then years ago.. I feel like we could learn more during the game where fringe guys are fighting for jobs and it's a real preseason game for whatever it's worth.

All Campbell needs to be is be heck of alot better than turnstile Lowe.
He already his twin.. also have to remember the defensive line is far better than last season.. Campbell is going up against real pass rushers..

hmmm... I understood what you meant, but it does implies that he's "lesser", least it does to me...

Diggs started with a high level talent...lots of guys don't have the natural gifts of a player like Diggs...

My point is Boutte is putting the work in, and is making himself a better player...

Its what Malcolm Mitchell did, what Jakobi Meyers did... Its good to see...
A also feel like the emergence of Henderson will vastly benefit the WRs.. his speed is electric... he's being compared to Gibbs....

I remember Solder was always behind the DL early.

The defense always has the early advantage.
Solder was helped by Brady getting the ball out quickly.

WASH has some decent players on the D-line. We'll see how he does this week vs non-teammates.

Big test for the o-line. Let's hope they don't get tossed around like tackling dummies. That happened last summer with the Eagles defensive front dominating the Pats not ready or qualified for varsity OL.

Yep- Our o-line sucked eggs last year but in hindsight they went against the best defensive front in the NFL.

Really hope Polk and Baker shine in this practice and game yes @Steve102.

Looking for CB’s to step up. Depleted is an understatement. Safeties on full display.

Obviously oline with Will Cambell in particular will be viewed with a microscope.

Excited to see the offense out there.

Dynasty purposes will be keeping tabs on wr Jaylin Lane and rb Jacorey Croskey-Merritt for Washington.
