Stafford comes to my mind. Must be something more recent but I doubt as big. When was the last time a superstar got traded after asking for one?

The Pat's just found a franchise QB and LT.Micah is young talent. Why wait until 2026 for a rumor when you can guarantee what you're asking for now?

That's an odd an answer. Because the LT and QB are young you'd rather wait until next year and take a gamble in the draft on a rumored deep draft instead of just getting one of the best player at that same position now for a little more draft capital. The Pat's just found a franchise QB and LT.
If those are signs of a rebuild what is?
That's a better answer than the previous one.18% of your salary cap on one player.
That’s why.
Yeah I'd say he's definitely playing games and sometimes stupid games lead to stupid prizes.Jerry is playing games, like he did with Dan, Emmett and Lamb.
He will sign him.
He is not going to trade him unless some team offers 3 first rounders and starting position players.
This is all part of the game called "contract negotiations"
For a smart business man Jerry sure seems to make some bad decisions. They could've signed Micah last year for $34 a year, now it's going to $40 plus.Yeah I'd say he's definitely playing games and sometimes stupid games lead to stupid prizes.
I'd also say it seems like Micah might not be playing the same game. Probably just contract negotiation games from Micah too but if you're someone who wants Micah it's not far fetched to think Micah could be serious. And the same adage applies to him too if his goal is to stay in Dallas.
And he repeats these mistakes over and over and that's why he is in the HOF.For a smart business man Jerry sure seems to make some bad decisions. They could've signed Micah last year for $34 a year, now it's going to $40 plus.
Some Dallas fans complain that Parsons disappears in the post season.18% of your salary cap on one player.

Jerry says that he is the best Cowboys GM available.Jerry is playing games, like he did with Dan, Emmett and Lamb.

This team is not ready to contend in the post season. That's an odd an answer. Because the LT and QB are young you'd rather wait until next year and take a gamble in the draft on a rumored deep draft instead of just getting one of the best player at that same position now for a little more draft capital.
Also 26 year old stud edge players are as important as any position other than QB and LT for a rebuilding team.
I would offer a 1st, Anfernee, Jennings, Polk, and Lowe (if healthy). If Lowe isn't healthy, I'd offer Peppers.
I also realize that the Pats would likely had to consider Douglas instead of Polk and Keion White instead of Jennings..

You have a chance at Parsons without giving up Maye, Gonzalez, Henderson, Barmore, Spillane, you do it.
Spillane is a defensive leader in Vrabels new system hand picked to come here. Henderson is going to be our starting back by next season and he’s on a Rookie deal and he’s explosive.Huh? Maye and Gonzalez make sense, but as much as I like the others I would trade a 1st and any of them for Parsons, and I love Henderson.
Pats receive:
Micah Parsons
Cowboys' 2026 second round pick
Cowboys' 2026 fifth round pick
Cowboys receive:
Patriots' 2026 first round pick
Patriots' 2026 third round pick
Patriots' 2027 first round pick
Patriots' 2027 fourth round pick
I'd do something like this.
