Whats Up with the Tight Ends?

I would love a shot at that ^ Guy knowing the Raiders already have their Gronk.
Is that the kid that caught that Jeter fly ball and made it a HR?

Nope I just googled it the kid was Jeffrey.

But apparently Michael went a murder spree in the late 70s and every now and then a sequel keeps happening.
Love the name.

Chad Graff had this note in his recent article:
Gee Scott Jr. has been impressive in the battle for the No. 3 tight end job and likely enters preseason games as the favorite for that role.
interesting
Personally, I've never seen his name mentioned but not many 3rd stringers are getting mentioned anyways
either have I... thats why its interesting, lol

was really hoping CJ Dippre was going to pop a bit... coming out of alabama, he should really be as close to pro ready as you are going to get... though, there is always a learning curve... He's not really a blocker, but maybe as a potential replacement for HH when the time comes...
Instead of “not really a blocker”, watching him at Alabama I would characterize him as mainly a very competent blocker with just enough receiving skills to keep the defenses honest. Great tools, but at Alabama for some reason the production wasn’t really breathtaking. On some draft sites there is some nitpicking of his blocking technique (to support what you said), but I think he is solid to very good overall at blocking. However, I expected him to do well at training camp, but I guess he hasn’t shined in either blocking or receiving.

my comments were absolutely based on scouting reports that i read... didn't watch full games, and its hard to find videos of player which aren't just highlight reels... so thanks for the clarification

I was prioritizing TE in the draft & FA way more than most.
I've been saying it since Jan - we can't rely on 2 - 31 year olds at TE. Both seem to get banged up every year.
I was hoping Bell or Dippre would be able to show something, but maybe not.
I'd be very interested in trading for an underused or still hidden 2nd or 3rd year TE with a lot of upside.
Gee Scott has good press from training camp.

The two starters are great. Behind them there’s really nothing. Cupboard is nearly bare.

And both are turning 31 during the season.

Keys to McDaniels’ offense is the health of Henry and Henderson. Both guys are great.
