Because thats not the vibe in KC at all. Besides, amazing in practice vs your own guys and a real game where the other player wants to tear your head off are 2 different worlds.

I haven't posted since 2015, when the NFL suspended Tom Brady for the Ideal Gas Law. I decided that the Sinaloa and Cali cartels were more deserving of support than the one that calls itself the NFL. Haven't watched much since then and don't follow as closely. Lurk once in a while.

I haven't followed the draft discussion on the board very actively, but FWIW, here are a few thoughts:

General Thoughts

1. Every draft is different, there are opportunities and mistakes to be made every year. This one is thin at the top but very, very deep. If I compare this year's pool to last...

1. It's way too early too tell anything.

2. I hope Will Campbell makes me look like an absolute idiot for saying that.

People need to realize that Sam wants Campbell to fail. He’s only happy when he’s miserable, which
means that Sam is the happiest man alive, because he’s always miserable.

Will Campbell was the starting left tackle at LSU when he was only 18 years old, and never relented that spot. At no point in their careers has Josh Simmons ever been rated higher than Campbell as a prospect. In fact Campbell was the highest rated left tackle going into last season, and maintained that ranking right up to the draft. As usual Sam is just making **** up and talking out of his ass, which isn’t surprising given that he has two of them.

In fairness, the Pats could have traded down and Spencer Rattler was just sitting there when the Patriots drafted in the second round.

I all honesty, I actually wanted to consider trading down last year, but after how I saw how the QB board went, I am happy they drafted Maye.

Doubtful any team is using #4 on a guy recovering from a patella tear that that ended his college career. That's a very bad injury to have for an O-Lineman and a tough recovery. I wouldn't even use a first on him even though the Chiefs did.

The Chiefs championship window is wide open they can afford to take risks on guys like Simmons. The Pats can't.
