It is a concern, but it could be anything from cramps to a season ending tear at this point. At this point in the preseason, they are not going to rush him back to practice even for a minor injury. Hope for the best at this point. He could be back running at 100% tomorrow's practice (or whenever the next practice is).

Bingo!

I hope he’s not back running at 100% tomorrow even if it was just cramps, take a bit of time off just for insurance even if it’s nothing.

Whatever it is, better it happened now than in the last day of camp. This gives more chance to see which of the young CBs are next man up. I’m not convinced it’s Austin.

I’m intrigued by Bolden
Likewise. IIRC his RAS was very similar to Gonzo’s.

Edit: looked them up. Not quite, but purty good…

I was there today and saw it right away and followed him until he was out of sight. From what I saw unfortunately it was not just a cramp. But it didn't look like a season ending tear either. After that I wouldn't speculate.

Ideally a strain of sorts. Hopefully no tearing.

He missed most of 2023 due to a torn labrum.

It may be an indication of a more intense practice from last season. These kinds of leg injuries happen. Until I read ACL or broken ankle I won't worry.

Bolden has the physical chops and worked hard to come back after his injury in his rookie season. He has looked good in preseason showings. Hopefully he can take advantage…

Get the other young guys reps while he and Carlton Davis are gone. This is a good opportunity to shore up the backend of that CB unit.

Was it contact or non contact.

He certainly has the height/length/weight/speed required. So, he has the physical attributes to work with. With the proper coaching, it's all on his shoulders as to how good (if not better) he can be.

It was non contact which would be scary if there was any reason to think knee but it seemed very clear he was grabbing his hamstring area. Just a question of how severe and I'm less inclined to speculate to that but it didn't seem like the worst injury nor was it just a cramp.

Bolden’s agility is poor, he turns like an oil freighter. Unfortunately that is an important measurable for CB’s.

Look up Battle’s RAS score… that guy has athleticism in spades.
