No. The back up QB.
No. The back up QB.
LOL. Every job I've ever had, when a guy left, everything gets blamed on him for at least a couple of weeks, - "Yeah, I'm pretty sure f'n Bob screwed that up." Makes absolutely no difference the actual quality of Bob's work, of course. Human nature: ain't it grand?May as well blame him.
Yep. I think they let him go because Robert is cheap. The trade of Joe Milton fueled the conspiracy theories and nontroversies of Sportstalk Radio for many weeks after and often continues to this day...
I take that back it's the players fault. Mayo can't help them once they're between the white lines
That was a disgraceful showing by the Bills... I get the impression no matter what the Pats did they were winning that game.
FIFYWe will see Milton LIGHTING IT UP this season starting.
I swear to god if he's the MVP in 3 years...FIFY
I swear to god if he's the MVP in 3 years...
I agree it is not a big mistake, it is not a small mistake either. With that coaching staff nobody was going to become what they could become. They took a flyer on a late round WB who has talent but thinks he’s much better than he actually is, so they traded him and got more than what they paid, that’s not the “ big mistake” a poster claimed it was.
I don't know. He had some short completions in that Buffalo game. Granted, it was against the scrubs, but still, he showed some surprising touch.Today’s practice for the Pats was having the QB take what was there, so lots of short passes.
If Milton has a practice where all he is allowed to do is try to complete short passes, he will lose all of his trade value, and the entire WR group will have hand injuries.
I agree it is not a big mistake, it is not a small mistake either.
But a 2026 late round 5th is not more than a 2024 mid round 6th.

sometimes you got to tip the guys who are taking out the trash...Especially because our FO caved and added the First pick of the 7th round for the privilege.
He doesn’t realize it’s very different over here this year, too.Yikes....
"I've been in another building. I know how that goes. It's just very different over here."
Joe Milton getting acclimated to Cowboys offense, working with Dak Prescott
Going into his second year, Cowboys quarterback Joe Milton is soaking up as much as he can about Brian Schottenheimer's offense and is happy to be learning from Dak Prescott.www.dallascowboys.com
