That is like saying a blocking TE can make a receiving TE expendable. Two different functions. Injuries can make Hollins expendable, but not Chism. Have you ever seen a 5'10" guy standing next to a 6'4" guy? If the short and tall players stand next to each other with their arms raised the image is even uglier. Noone can make Chism fast, and noone can make Chism tall.I know he's a great blocking WR and big red area target.. but if he's not going to be able to contribute, with competition heating up each day.. he may end up becoming expendable if Chism for example continues his upwards trend.
We have Henry and Digss specifically who are great red area receivers themselves.
This is so old and such a poor take. Mcvay laughed because he hoped to steal him in the second round and Bb grabbed him first. Keep up TriumphThe pick raised eyebrows brows from the get go.
Sean Mcvay laughed at BB.
Thats a fair pointWait until injuries hit a few clubs.
Rham is worth something.
How exactly was it Wolfs fault? Please do not come at me with they should have signed Oli Udoh who played OG last year or the other 2 guys you were going on about last year. They all sucked and it would not have made a positive impact. Last years OL FA class was not good, so you can pretend that any number of ****ty signings would have made a difference but it wouldn't have. He’s got good football on tape and other teams were interested in him as a rookie prospect.
Wolf’s not in charge anymore luckily. Also they had the worst offensive line in the NFL, that is not the RB’s fault…it was Wolf’s actually.
Saquon Barkley finally had a great offensive line in front of him for the first time in his career… he nearly doubled his best rushing season. It’s a team game. The Patriots can’t afford to cut good players.

It could, but I remember someone pointing out that they could coexist, since they're not exactly identical players.
One, I get that. The point I'm trying to make is something we've all seen especially during our championship years. Veteran gets signed in the offseason complimentary player, gets hurt or isn't able to stay healthy enough during camp practices and another younger guy comes on. The organization went with the guy who was available. Now for example if Hollins can't make it off PUP he probably still makes the roster but if chism, Boutte or another player we might not even be thinking about right now happens to have a great camp and impresses Josh and Vrabel enough then Hollins could be made expendable somewhere down the line. He's a complimentary sure nice to have as he has size.. but we aren't game planning for Hollins to see 10 targets.Dude, Chism can not make Hollins expendable. Pops size, speed and quickness is more in line to Welker.I've heard that Pop has more of an Amendola skill set.

No one can make Hollins good
But... SBB... I've been told he's this all pro blocking WR, this all pro red area target.. we are doomed without Hollins.. what will Vrabel do without him.. ... how would we replace his record breaking 5 TDs from a season ago...No one can make Hollins good
Don't sleep on K Boutte; he has the LSU connecting going for him. LSU have brought some fine players into this League.Strange, Bourne, Polk, Jennings, Tavai, Lowe, Boutte all would not surprise me
Boutte has a real shot to become even better under Vrabel, I rather take more chances on younger guys who's at least show some production in the league.. Boutte could be like jabar gaffey type of role for Drake.Don't sleep on K Boutte; he has the LSU connecting going for him. LSU have brought some fine players into this League.
It's funny how K Boutte gets' no respect for what he did last year. But people were still waiting for Harry and Tyquan to make the year three jump. K Boutte have already done more than both those stiffs in year 2. K Boutte is going be a nice piece with Diggs.Boutte has a real shot to become even better under Vrabel, I rather take more chances on younger guys who's at least show some production in the league.. And remember Harry asked for a trade and BB still kept him on the roster, Harry and Tyquan lasted 3.5 years here. Same for Polk people want to write him off.. he's a far better player. Yes, yourself, myself, and our cousins @signbabybrady @Zuma have been Boutte supporters all off season. Boutte has a confidence about him that I like and that you need to have as a wr.. I like Boutte to make this team.. while another veteran wr who's unavailable will be...It's funny how Boutte gets' no respect for what he did last year. Good points. Ideally you want your 5 OL to line up, and be able to block enough without having to hope your Wrs block enough to get someone open. Sometimes it's about lining up and beating the man across from you. I'd like us be become a better and more efficient goal line team this season. Henry is a big red zone target at 6"5. Also Henderson can split out wide as well. We have much better options than people may realizeblocking TE? I'm cool with that
blocking WR? do we really need a WR? at this point, i'd rather have a catch the damn pass most of the time and get some yard and maybe occasionally a TD WR instead of a blocking WR... ymmv
He signed terrible free agents and drafted guys who could have gone in the 7th round or UDFA ranks. Stop protecting your uncle, I’m sure he’s a nice guy.How exactly was it Wolfs fault? You could point to the fact that Wolf brought in AVP and the rest of the crappy staff, but there were a number of people that politely told us to **** ourselves, so again your sad drivel about Wolf being terrible is and the reason for last year is just...sad.
I disagree other than are both short and weigh lightPops size, speed and quickness is more in line to Welker.
