Agree or disagree? The Maye bar is ankle high.

Pretty good balanced analysis. Both on positives and negatives. You can definitely see the poor Line and receiver play effecting Maye. I do disagree with some of the analysis on the running plays that went for big yards that he says Maye should have passed. When it's man and the line opens, he's going to run and make big plays with his legs.

What about me sb1...

My career is at the floor too..

Sub Floor??

Out of 11 example, 10 players are matched with skin colour. I am sure it is just a coincidence!
The OP must have been a democrat.
My floor for Maye is to cut out the choker plays late in games when he needs to do something. That was a massive red flag that I am attributing to rookie stuff, purely as a homer. If he was a Jet, I would say he has all the hallmarks of a choker!
Last season was so screwed up.

Most 1st year QBs make horrific mistakes.

His ceiling is #1 QB in the NFL.
I think his floor is above Lawrence. Lawrence is not very good.
CJ Stroud is probably his floor.

Talent and coaching around a QB can make a big difference.
Agreed on Lawrence. Maye is still very raw and kind of a peach fuzz faced kid.

Last season was encouraging. I never got the impression that this game was too big for him.

It's feels like Herbert and Lawrence are what they are.. been in the league long enough to know what they are. Lawrence will probably make it back to a divisional game again and Herbert chokes in the playoffs. Drake hasn't even tapped anything close to his potential yet.. he played last season off natural talent and instincts. He's accurate, smart, has one of the best side arms throws in the game.

Yes... Campbell the highest rated OL in the draft.. now lowe has to compete with a UFL player for his back up job...

If that's the case, then Low has the backup LT job sewn-up.

I still feel much, much better about Herbert's prognosis than I do about Lawrence's, even though it was Lawrence who had the near-historic PO come-back victory vs Herbert's Chargers... I blame the HC of the LAC for that one more than I do its QB.

That's exactly what I mean cap. How many post season crumbles have we seen Herbert do.. last season he supposed had a better coach in Harbaugh.. same results. Yeah I can say coaching had.. some part.. Lawrence and Herbert are what they are good but not great QBs. And that is ok.. u can win with Ok.. we haven't had anything prior to Drake ..close to ok at QB since 2019

Herbert had guys at wr too In his career.. Allen, Williams on the outside..

Lawrence and Herbert are heading into Phillip Rivers Hell.

Maye is so green. We are expecting phenomenal strides with this team. It dont work that way. The Brady's and Mahone's happen because the right place and right time and right team and, its all luck.

Are you hanging out with State?

You both have the same fkn ******** every day.
Smarter than everyone else makes you Small.

Bah
Yo, it is just expressing opinions on a message board.

I seriously doubt that smartest person on this message board is any great honor. It may look appetizing if you're running for Mayor of Boston.

Maybe you should Run, you'll fit right in with the rest of the fkn ******s

One, that's how many. Herbert has been to the playoffs twice in his 5 year career, the first 4 of which were under a defensive minded head coach. His 1st playoff game was against Jax. The Chargers put up 30 and lost on a walk off FG, hard to put that on Herbert when they led by 10 with @ 5 minutes left. This past year the entire team pissed down its collective playoff leg, Herbert included. Two games, that's the sum of his playoff career. While it's true they were both losses, the overall results were hardly the 'same.' Two dissimilar playoff games under two different HC's is hardly enough to pass judgement on his playoff career. Herbert is a 26 year old work in progress, he has improved year to year and I wouldn't bet against him continuing to.
