UCHE rebounding with Eagles thus far.

Could his current resurgence have to do with being on an excellent defensive team, with lots of very good defensive players with a very good D Coordinator??
Not sure we can tell much of anything after no contact workouts....

No, his current resurgence is more likely due to the fact that he’s going against teammates in shorts and rubber croc sandals.

He was what he was in college: a situational pass rusher. He could never hold the edge. He could never be trusted to handle responsibilities other than wide arc speed rushing with an occasional inside move. A one trick pony.

He never started in college but for a handful of games for DC Don Brown for the reasons just listed. Even then, when facing a pro style offense like the Nittany Lions, he was rarely on the field.

Why Belichick felt the masturbatory impulse to draft the Spandex Pretty Boy in the second round will forever elude disinterested observers.
I don't know why you felt the masturbatory impulse to add the last sentence.

There is no resurgence. The article says he’s an eagle, they need guys at his position and a teammate said good things about his play as a patriot.
It’s a water is wet article

A guy I was disappointed we moved on from.
I wish Wolf wouldn’t have moved on from young talent who looked promising then fell apart under Mayo and Covington.

Thornton is also turning heads and getting praise from Mahommes, Kelce, and Andy Reid.

Maybe Wolf could draft, we just couldn’t develop these guys.

A pox on Both their houses.

I’m just saying I wouldn’t of got rid of any young talent or a player who as promising in college or in the NFL prior to Mayo,

I love what Vrabel is building, but Thornton should be here over Polk,Baker, Bourne, Hollins.

Young tall explosive WRs don’t just fall in your lap we traded up to get him.

BoneyT played for Two seasons under Bill before MayoNays became HC; so...

And neither sloPolk, half-Baked, Dawghouse OR Hollins should be here either.

Hollins might surprise because he was good with McDaniels in LV. If Maye picks up McD's system, Hollins will be in the right place as a 3rd or 4th option for a few clutch catches a game.

Beyond Diggs, Williams, Douglas, and the TEs, you want a role player that runs the right routes with the right adjustments. Hollins will do that. Good team player. Clutch a couple times a game plus a blocker. That is a great fit for a fringe starter.

In what world is Hollins making a few clutch catches a game?

He's has averaged a whopping 1.4 catches per game during his career and that year with McD which was his best it was 3.4 a game more than I expected but each one would need be clutch for your statement to be true.

You figured it out. Good job.

Regarding the over drafted Thornton everybody looks good in shorts and shells. We'll see when the real bullets start to fly.

I don't get people love affair with that dude...Bourne and Boutte are way better. I don't think Hollins is going make it...not enough rooms in the Inn.

When you have a loaded team, stacked at every position you can take risks on high ceiling low floor guys like Uche.
Patriots can not afford that luxury.

But when you have a high floor, low ceiling team like the Steelers you can take all the chances you want to, it’s not like it isn’t going to all fall apart anyways, so what’s the difference?

how can he be rebounding in July? Is he playing basketball?

How the heck does a guy rebound already when all they have had is OTAs, no contact is allowed, training camp has not even begun yet, and he has not played a single snap for his new team? Honestly, the crap the media comes up with is incredible. Uche thrived when Judon was a beast. Uche failed when he carried the load. The Eagles don't need him to carry the load. He will have his flashes. This is not a revival or rebirth.

The thing is those guys did the very same things here in the off season... how many reports did we here about Tyquan or Uche looking good then when the season starts they disappeared. Uche at least showed potential one season with 11 sacks.

Twin: Uche works well with others ie...Judon.

Twin.. you exactly correct. Although Wolf may have been right now judon.. he has no team now!
Judon fell off that LB cliff a little early if you ask me. Wolf will be in the running GM of the year; he knew something.
