A guy I was disappointed we moved on from.
I wish Wolf wouldn’t have moved on from young talent who looked promising then fell apart under Mayo and Covington.

Thornton is also turning heads and getting praise from Mahommes, Kelce, and Andy Reid.

Maybe Wolf could draft, we just couldn’t develop these guys.

Hit me up when either has had a good season. No tshirts and shorts ********. We’ve seen it from both before.

Best defense line in football. He better have a "break-out" season.

I read the thread headline and was attempting to figure out what "UCHE" was an acronym for prior to clicking on it.

University of Connecticut Higher Employment?
No, that wouldn't make sense.

United Council of Healthy Eating?
Maybe.

Sad that the Patriots could get nothing more than a sixth-round draft pick two years down the road for him.

Just another early round draft pick that's been removed from my memory banks.

The article says an offensive lineman remembers playing against him when he was with the Patriots. This is not an article that he “is doing well”

95% of the players in the league get an article like this written about them during the summer.

I'll believe it when I see it. He was virtually invisible playing on the Chiefs last season.

Vic Fangio has been the most underrated DC in the league for a long time. If he can't get anything out of Uche, nobody will.

Was pretty impressive when Judon was taking most of attention, but after that he was gone, I didn't see a lot.
Not disappointed that he is gone, and maybe I'll be wrong.
We'll see.

I might vomit if Tyquan Thornton goes on to be a contributor in KC.

I’m just saying I wouldn’t of got rid of any young talent or a player who as promising in college or in the NFL prior to Mayo,

I love what Vrabel is building, but Thornton should be here over Polk,Baker, Bourne, Hollins.

Young tall explosive WRs don’t just fall in your lap we traded up to get him.

Although it will sting, I RDGAS What Thornton does, he's no longer on MY Team, so whatever.
He had chances here, and he failed to the point that he got released.
Whatever, we can't worry about everyone that we release.
Sometimes it may suck

We'll see, I personally think he's a dumbass, but I'm usually wrong... we'll see.

Thornton can't get off a jam. Looks good until game time.

Could his current resurgence have to do with being on an excellent defensive team, with lots of very good defensive players with a very good D Coordinator??
Not sure we can tell much of anything after no contact workouts....

Agree completely. “Young, tall, explosive WR’s don’t just fall in your lap.” But I don’t blame the Patriots for letting him go, I blame the NFL Rules committee for their ******** requirement that players have to catch passes. Rules like that keep great talents like Thornton from ever reaching their potential. The rule should be just like the defensive pass interference Rule Pollian had put in place, if you touch a receiver it’s a foul. So if a receiver touches the ball it should considered completed. This would make the NFL so much more explosive, and young talents like Thornton would thrive.

And I absolutely agree that Vrabel never should have gotten rid of Thornton. I couldn’t believe it when he let him go to the Chefs in the middle of the 24’ season.

I never said Vrabel let him go.

I said Wolf Shouldn’t have given up on young players so quickly.
I’m guessing Wolf didn’t know how badly Mayo was mismanaging and under coaching the team.

You had me laughing regarding the contact with the ball should be a catch that’s absolutely diabolically hilarious.

I feel like that should be a Monday morning QB blog or something.

Well done seriously.

I'm amazed at the fans still thinking Thornton will have a "breakout" season! Glad he is gone. This locker room doesn't need un-clutch players who should have never been drafted.

He has more untapped potential than Baker and Polk, Bourne is reported to be on the outs sooner than later.

I’m curious to see if him being coached by Reid and catching balls from Mahommes as opposed to Mac Jones and Zappe fix what was broken.

I’m more curious to see was he a player who was severely over drafted or a talented young player who needed proper coaching and guidance and will finally get it.

I just wish Vrab had a chance to coach Thornton and UCHE to see if they can elevate their game.

Felt was moved on from both too soon.

Uche plateaued, he is who he is. I can see Thornton doing better with Andy Reid.

Uche plateaued, he is who he is.
He was what he was in college: a situational pass rusher. He could never hold the edge. He could never be trusted to handle responsibilities other than wide arc speed rushing with an occasional inside move. A one trick pony.

He never started in college but for a handful of games for DC Don Brown for the reasons just listed. Even then, when facing a pro style offense like the Nittany Lions, he was rarely on the field.

Why Belichick felt the masturbatory impulse to draft the Spandex Pretty Boy in the second round will forever elude disinterested observers.
