I’m taking the middle ground, which I believe to be true. Duncan was better than KG. The gap isn’t as much you’d think when someone ranks Duncan as top 10/12 of all-time and ranks KG around 25, which is about the average ranking position. In reality, they should be separated by a few spots. KG was an absolute monster. Duncan was a little better but a lot more fortunate when it comes to team construction. You may argue that Duncan made it easier to construct a team around him but look at how KG adapted to the Celtics system. The Timberwolves surrounded KG with dogshit.
