The Bill megathread (HC at UNC, girlfriend, etc.)

Absolutely, but he just kept on denying it was a cheap shot, and telling me I never played in the NFL.. I never bothered to tell him I was actually a soccer player. I didn’t see how it would help my argument any.
You could have suggested that he watch a clip of the Seattle safety (Earl Thomas) hitting Gronk in the chest on a clean hard open field tackle.

Gronk even cracked a couple of ribs on the play.

THAT is how you tackle.

Of course, you would have been blocked sooner.

I suggested many things, most of which he didn’t appreciate.

So...how is it going? I see there are quite a few bored people around still.

In case you need more talking points:
- How many pages will this relationship last?
- Brady or Bill?
- Which will happen first? Bill's job is done or his relationship is done?

All 22 starters, and the talent of depth behind them… not just one player on offense.

It’s also not coincidence the greatest coaches in history often drafted and developed the games best players. In a sport where a third of the league is made up of UDFA’s this is important.

Tom wasn’t out there playing defense or special teams… even if some fanboys here think Tom’s magic powers enhanced those other two phases.
No he didn't play special teams or defense but having Tom buy in into the "Patriot Way" made it where other players bought into it as well. No coincidence once Tom left the team was uncharacteristically bad with penalties, pre snap issues etc not even going with W- L either. Tom was the system

Except we can’t find a single person here or anywhere who thinks “it was all Belichick” or he didn’t make mistakes. Literally nobody.

This is one sided stupidity.
"CoLLaBoRATiON"

Literally nobody. Lol

So we can't discuss Vinny because he came up on another team before Bill got him. Yet we can't talk about Cassell, Jimmy, or Jacoby because they moved on to other teams.

Walter Sobchak said:
You have no frame of reference here. You're like a child who wanders in the middle of a movie and wants to know.

We can't talk about Brady because you're a hater.
?
So that really only leaves Mac. Interesting how you twist everything to fit your narratives
Mac Jones was a perfect opportunity for Bill to prove he could develop a typical QB prospect who is not the GOAT.. and he failed miserably. Then Bailey Zappe who also failed miserably. Easy to conclude that BB while very good at scheming defense he absolutely reeks at building offense and developing QB's sans Brady.

Giving Bill credit for "developing" QB's like Brissett and Cassel which any coach in the league could do... lolololol. Wow team Bill really is grasping at straws to save their cratering narrative...

At the end of the day none of that matters anyway since he did develop the greatest QB of all time it kind of makes all the other examples mute.
Fantastic. So why can't team Bill tell us why he failed with Mac Jones or anyone else if he was that great at developing QB's?
He's also helped develop the greatest LB of all time, the greatest TE of all time, and the greatest kicker of all time. Just to name a few other notches on that coaching belt.
Because those guys were already loaded with talent. Bill himself admitted he's lucky that he got to work with great players. And no Bill did not develop the greatest kicker of all time. If you are talking about Vinatieri, credit to Parcells for that. Parcells also made Bill.

It is amazing how stupid these people are. How anyone can forget the debacle that was Parcells and Belichick both leaving here and arriving at the NYJ at the same time is incredible.

As far as the Jets are concerned, there is no Parcells (as a HC) without Belichick. They were both there for the 9-7 first year, the 12-4 second year, and the 8-8 3rd year.

(Yes Parcells moved to the front office after the whole craziness of the 2000 offseason, but he was never HC of the NYJ without BB)
I like how people give all the credit to BB for his defenses working with Parcells. Guess they didn't know Parcells himself started as a defensive coach. Those defenses were just as much Tuna's as they were BB's.

Lol at your notion that any coach could develop a 7th round QB who hadn't started a game since HS into a pro bowler. Your level of Idiocracy reaches new levels the more the hate flows through you.

And of course all players selected 199 come SBMVP ready according to you. No development needed.

Parcells deserves plenty of credit for Adam but only had him for one season. Pete helped him develop and then Bill helped him become the GOAT.

For some reason you seem to think development only occurs during a players rookie year. And then you also seem to strip Bill of any credit for anyone because they came with talent already.

The more you post the more you expose yourself to know nothing about football and team building. You should stick to talking about Hudson you're better at the gossip talk than you are talking about actual football.

Just because you think Brady deserves ALL the credit. Doesn't mean when someone else gives credit they mean all. Of course Parcells gets credit for his own defense but shame on us for mentioning the Defensive Coordinator's credit too. You really know nothing about football do you?

+1 +1 +1

It is amazing how good a coach/coordinator looks when they have the best defensive player in the history of the NFL and then later on have the best offensive player in the history of the NFL.

Fixed it for you

If you're flexing on Bill working with backup-talent QB's so they turn out to be the backups they always were then you're really reaching. "Pro bowler" lol.

And Cassel's development went great didn't it. How did he do in his first playoff game in NE? I assume he made the playoffs because he had talent around him that went 16-0 the year prior.

And of course all players selected 199 come SBMVP ready according to you. No development needed.
Brady is a once in a lifetime player that brought a lot more to a team beyond throwing a football. If Hue Jackson was his coach I bet he still wins a ring.

No but rookie year is darn important in their development. Also as a K Adam was a finished product when BB arrived so no he did not develop him and had nothing to do with his development.
And then you also seem to strip Bill of any credit for anyone because they came with talent already.
"I've been lucky that I got to coach many great players" - Bill Belichick. You're gonna argue with your hero?
Belichick failed to develop Jordan Richards. Do you think he was talking about him in that quote?
The more you post the more you expose yourself to know nothing about football and team building. You should stick to talking about Hudson you're better at the gossip talk than you are talking about actual football.
G-o-go-let's-go-Belichick-go!~ Gimme a B. Gimme another B. Whaddaya got?

Hope that is less triggering.

Again how can you justify writing off every player as either having arrived with talent or developed previously. You literally can't give him credit for anything. So clearly you know nothing about football and are just a clown.
