There's a lot of things he could have said or not said. Instead he said what he did and to just shrug it off like it was the only option is not fair to either of them.
Exactly correct, fans should want him to continue to get better as he'll have a real chance too going forward. He also is a pretty good STs player.

What's he gonna do, call him a bum?

Don't get me wrong, he's a damn sight better than the Sloppy Jalopy, of whom I surely hope we've seen the last... But there are dudes still on the street that are >> the Both of them.
Cap, you know i love your humor you bring to the forum my guy.. but a player like elliss IMO is easy to root for, hard working, does whatever he asked to do, and wants to get better. He's got the right coach who will allow that to happen. Now if he doesn't then he'll likely fade and end up out of the league in a year or 2.. is my guess.

You wrote "@captain stone ... Don't have to listen to me". If you were talking to ring 6, I would expect you to write, "@Ring 6 ..... Don't have to listen to me". But that is just me. When I talk to Pete, I don't start my comment by saying, Hey Harry.

I quoted Vrabel in multiple spots. You seem very confused having posted multiple responses. Maybe you get the different posters jumbled up.

Real Fan 02’ is a very nice guy, but I had to put him on ignore because he consistently takes all sides in any discussion, and I was going to start being a **** to him about it, so I just cut the cord. I could literally be in a debate about something with two polar opposite views, and he would be completely agreeing with both sides, and seemed to confuse that with having “ an open mind,” when in truth it was just a desire to try and please everyone.

Huck,

I think your a nice guy as well. It's water under the bridge. It's a forum. Some agree, some disagree It's all love brother no ill will on my part.

I gave you your respect and I always have tend to have great conversations with you. So im extending the olive branch between us...

Being honest about how he played last year and hoping for him to improve are not mutually exclusive. I root for every Patriot player and want them all to improve. That doesn’t mean I overlook what they do on the field. I’d for Polk to improve and become an all pro, but that doesn’t mean you ignore he was the worst NFL WR in memory last year.

Ok fair enough. I'm not ignoring his deficiency as a player. Lots of players have short comings. It's how they continue to improve on thier game is what's ultimately the deciding factor. So here's here.. Hopefully he will continue to grow and take the coaching to better him game. Same for polk and other young unproven players.

awwww you two kiss and make up.

Imagine if other problems in the world could be solved like this..
Yes thinking of one person in particular why needs some love, but Ian will slap my wrist (or worse) if I mention a name.

I mean, also, he sucks.
Why are we pretending he's an all-pro? He was awful last year with a couple of splash plays among a long, long reel of him resembling burnt toast.

Tommy,

In no way at all do i think he's an all pro. Im not here defending his bad plays. He was resigned, he'll have a chance to carve a role out for himself in the defense. Like all the players pretty much.

He doesn't Suck as you say, he's a Hard Working man that makes himself known.
Sick of you CLOWNS making it look like EVERYONE we have should have already been an All-Pro.
You know better.
I'm disgusted with you clowns.

Bah
