#Patriots LB Jahlani Tavai went down with a right leg injury during the 11-on-11 period, per multiple reports.Tavai was down for a few minutes with his teammates kneeled around him. He was eventually helped off the field by Jabrill Peppers.

(can't figure out how to post twitter post... So I'm doing it this way... the ol' copy paste.)

Also tough break for Tavai... I don't know if he was going to make the roster anyway, but you hate to see it.

Kickers got four attempts each between 33 and 49 yards today. Andres Borregales hit all four. John Parker Romo missed right from 39 and 49.

Best day so far for Drake Maye. Looked confident and in command. Highlight was a deep wheel route touch throw to Rhamondre Stevenson down the left sideline

Yeah... I haven't heard 1 bad thing about Efton.... I think we may have got a real steal here. The kind of guy who can be our slot option for 10 years kind of steal.

This is exactly the practice Polk should be doing. He has speed and quickness... make every single catch for him contested and a challenge until going full speed and catching without a hand trying to slap it away is a joke.

I have always disagreed with this analysis.

IMO, we have enough money to sign competition for as many depth spots as we need. Just because there is more of a need at say TE or OL is NOT a reason no not to address CB.

Apparently, we have decided that we don't need competition for roster spots at CB. We are confident that Bolden, Dial and the rest will meet the need. Personally, I don't understand.

I agree. One injury at the CB spot could spell trouble. Not sure why they let Jones walk or sign additional FAs.

Zone beater right there: Pop Douglas struggled with that last year. Glad we have Diggs who can Teach him how to do that effectively. Diggs is an Excellent excellent Route runner.
