Having 8 as a coach isn't even in the same ballpark as 7 as a QB. That's your problem.

I would say 6 as a HC is very much in the same Ball park as 7 as starting QB.
The thing is there is no need to make such a debate. The Bill vs Brady thing is the worst thing about this board.

I would put importance to our dynasty right around the same. I'd Give Brady %26 credit, Bill %24, all other players and coaches %50. Where as you Bill haters just try to erase him altogether it's embarrassing.

(A) If the thesis is "Bill Belichick is no better than Jeff Fisher" then it would be wrong to take away 20 years from Belichick.

(B) But no one is saying that. Rather, the thesis is "Bill Belichick's record without Tom Brady is no better than Jeff Fisher." Using that thesis, it is perfectly appropriate to take the Brady years away from Belichick and compare it to the totality of Fisher's career.

The above is statistical analysis 101. If you're too stupid to understand the difference between (A) and (B), that's on you.
