When I put on the rose colored glasses and count 10 wins, it's putting aside the injury factor, and also the fact that a couple of these bad teams on our schedule will probably improve and not be pushovers.

Of course the flip side of that is that a team projected to be good gets a key injury or underperforms for one reason or another.

No, OTAs don’t count as they’re “voluntary”. It’s actual training camp in July that matters for the PUP list.

Same thing last year I hesitate to complain about an OL being fat. It's kind of part of the position. Was it the reason last year wasn't Onwenwu's best or was it the other crappy olinemen that surrounded him?

I'm not saying it isn't reason for some concern just that I'm hesitant to complain about the eye test of he weighs to much or is out of shape. There's way more to it than just that.

The hitch on the other hand is slightly more concerning. Is it just rust from the off-season, or maybe another new system, or hopefully Bedard is just wrong.

If he’s a slob and can do his job, there’s no concern. I can’t fathom the caloric intake these dudes must have to ingest daily to maintain form.

I couldn’t do it. I have to take in about 150 grams of protein a day to put on muscle, and I have to use protein powder just to do that, I can’t imagine how hard it is to get 250-300 grams without getting fat.

Their offense is going to be completely overmatched against their defense, and he’s trying to ingest a completely new, and far more difficult offensive scheme. I don’t give one sweet **** what assholes like Felger say, I’ll judge Maye based upon his performance against their opponents this year, not when he’s throwing to a receiving corps that is clearly overmatched in practice.
