The D should win. But not that hard... keep in mind No Diggs, Williams will flash but is still getting his feet wet. He isn't ready to face something like Gonzo, never seen anything like it. Davis probably either for that matter.

This Offense will need time to gel and get up to speed... maybe by the preseason we will see some consistency. But till then i expect the D to feast. Also, i doubt Drake test the CBs like he did here in a real game. Now is the time to push it. See if you can fit that ball in. If you can beat Gonzo with Baker you can beat anyone in this league.

Morgan Moses apparently had a lot of 1 on 1 time with Will Campbell today to show him some stuff. Being the good vet i see. Also i think Moses has to know Campbell will be the last big name tackle he'll likely get to mentor in his career.

And a surprise catch of the day:

I would have loved to see Maye competing for his job with Milton.
He was kind of handed the starter’s job on a silver platter.
Maybe you didn't get to see him compete through preseason and leading to that week 6 start but the coaching staff got to see plenty of what all three qbs could do. Handed the starting job on a silver platter.....yeah ok.

According to Bedard, Onwenu reported even fatter than last year and the hitch in Maye's throwing motion is back and "pronounced".

If Bedard is right, that's inexcusable.
And that starting line isn't anything to get excited about. Its ceiling is average, its floor is really bad again.

I can’t compare it to last year, but you can see the size of #71’s stomach in this tweet that Bobdigital posted earlier.

Same thing last year I hesitate to complain about an OL being fat. It's kind of part of the position. Was it the reason last year wasn't Onwenwu's best or was it the other crappy olinemen that surrounded him?

I'm not saying it isn't reason for some concern just that I'm hesitant to complain about the eye test of he weighs to much or is out of shape. There's way more to it than just that.

The hitch on the other hand is slightly more concerning. Is it just rust from the off-season, or maybe another new system, or hopefully Bedard is just wrong.

The hitch is incredibly concerning.
Come on Josh
.

And you have Wilson, Sow, Robinson, and Wallace as backups which is not bad either.

Did you intentionally leave out Vederian Lowe?

He is from the last regime, though no more than Sow, but while I like your group, Lowe's right now the best of the bunch at LT, where it's still a rookie playing.

Lowe is well worth his salary, and someone might offer him a surprising contract if there is improvement.

He could probably fetch at least as much as Judon.
