How deep of sigh of relief could this draft be to a lot of old timer members of Pats Nation after years of wtf drafts?
We need one to boom all over the place badly. I need that football smile back on my face.

Agree. The point was trading players and picks and turning one pick into potentially 3 good players. It's manufacturing opportunity

Did you miss the first round meltdown?

Yes, I do.

First down meltdowns happened when picking in the last couple picks, which meant inevitably taking second round grade guys.

Now that we pick in the top 5, everyone celebrates the stud players we're taking.

I want to go back to taking those 2nd round guys at the end of the first round.

And I know it was just not me
We filled major holes with players we all talked about and wanted
You know it was a solid draft on paper because everyone on this site was having a love fest with each other
Normally this site goes nuclear on draft day
Even Sam had incense burning while in morning pose

Couldn’t agree more. They drafted literally every position most of us wanted and each pick was taken at or after where they were valued (except the safety but he still sounds like a decent pick).

I don't claim to know much about Cameron Williams, but I would have been more excited about drafting his potential than picking a kicker. But it's a nitpick, I'm very satisfied with this draft.

But right after that pick other teams started drafting kickers.

Pats got the best kicker and started a run.

In all seriousness, NCB is perhaps the biggest need beside QB3.

Tommi Hill and Korie Black were two we met with and Elijah Huzzie is a perfect NCB. And @bakes781 , remember when we did your mock draft and I droned on about Mello Dotson being far too good a value to still be on the board in the 7th round? Well guess who's still on the board as we go into the 7th round? Shows what I know.

No, he was picked by the Eagles which is why I think the original poster said the Eagles are good at drafting.
