Tonights draft just made so much more sense than the last few years, the thing was everyone at the time was saying how dumb not just taking McConkey was, it's ones like that you can't have.

Anyone can draft a bust but the process of constantly think you're smarter than everyone else and it blowing up in your face that had to stop.

No love for Upton Stout?

I'm really hoping that Vrabel shows Pegues some love. I think the kid would be great for the Offense for the Goal Line as well as a sub on defense and on special teams...
I really like him but I think he may be undersized for what Vrabel wants at NCB. Happy to be wrong there though.

I understand that. Im just saying this must mean they've already made the determination.

But on who?

Jake Andrews for sure. But one or two of Sow, Robinson and Strange are on the outs. Maybe even Caeden Wallace.
I don’t think that’s how it works. I think you realize your depth stinks and you add competition.
There isn’t an IOL in the roster aside from the starters who have proven the as nfl caliber, except a fossil who is made of glass.

It’s not deciding anyone pkayer stinks, it’s deciding they just drafted us between any back up they have. Who else sticks is up to them to compete.

Strange is the stating LG.

Sow and Robinson probably should be working at ups

EDGE - Bradyn Swinson, Kyle Kennard, Jack Sawyer, Barry Sorrell

DT - Ty Robinson, Joshua Farmer and many more (CJ West, Jordan Phillips, JJ Pegues). There's also Deone Walker but I'm not a fan of him.

DB - Billy Bowman, Craig Woodson, Cobee Bryant

WR - Tory Horton, Eric Ayomanor, Deont'e Thornton, Jalen Royals, Jaylin Lane

OT - Logan Brown, Hollin Pierce

Some really nice options.
DT at wherever the value is in Round 4.

I don't agree that they've made the determination. If a player is a question mark, as Andrews is, you have to make the move as if he's not there. Which is what they did in taking Wilson.

They needed a center who could be the back-up to Bradbury and eventually take over. Of the players you mentioned, only Strange had taken snaps at OC. Schweitzer has experience as a back-up center, but he's more of a James Ferentz type and certainly not guaranteed a spot.

I would say that Layden Robinson is on the outs. I highly doubt that Caeden Wallace is going anywhere. Not based on less than 100 snaps between the two tackle positions last year.

Plenty of TE3s. although Gunnar Helm is still available which surprises me a bit. I really like Jackson Hawes although he's a blocking TE, albeit an awesome one.
More blocking

Please let them draft CJ West, I am jealous of people seeing their binkies picked. I want that joy

Do we pick a QB at some point? Amazing that Dillon Gabriel got picked by the Browns before home state fave Will Howard, still available, particularly after Ohio State destroyed Oregon in the Rose Bowl.

Stout was taken by the 9ers.

I doubt Wallace, I suspect they view him as a developmental tackle who had poor coaching, a position change, was thrown into the fire, and then injured. And ultimately Wilson is really a center so ultimately I don’t think it impacts the guards at all. I think it’s possible they don’t dislike any of them but don’t love them either and want them to fight for a spot in camp. And possible they go with 9 guys and all stay - Campbell, Strange, Wilson, Onwenu, Malone as starters with Lowe, Wallace, Sow and Robinson as backups, with Bradbury, Brown and the FA backup they signed all bring cut. We’ll just have to see how they all look in camp.
I only named Wallace because I've been watching him for 5 years, seen him in 50 games, and Sow, Robinson and Strange all move much better than him. If he's still on the team in the fall, it's because Wolf doesn't want to be embarrassed. I think we heard from Wolf already where he admitted Wallace was a reach. I don't know why Vrabel would protect Wolf, I don't think he would, but having the guy bust this quick would be something.
