Ugh I don’t want Campbell but I’m convinced that’s who it will be. Jeanty is BPA after Hunter/Carter

Maybe, and you make a good case, but personally I think it was even more impressive that the Patriots won so much in spite of spotty drafts. I remember coach Cowher saying that before games against the Patriots that they would look at their players and were pretty sure they outmatched them; but when he looked at the scoreboard, the Patriots were ahead. [Psss, it was all the work of Ernie Adams.]

GOAT GMs might be Ozzie Newsome Jr., Jimmy Johnson, or Howie Roseman. BB did some good FA moves and draft picks early on, but lost his fastball by the end.

Gawd, is Thursday yet????
The job of the GM is to win SBs.
BB won more of them than anyone
How could Ozzie Newsome 2 Sbs in 24 years be better than BB 6 in 24?
Roseann has 10 playoff wins in 15 years.
Jimmy Johnson won 9 playoff games and 2 SBs in 9 years.

This makes me think they will try to trade strange. Too many guards.
A long list of scrubs doesn’t mean you get rid of your starter.
L Robinson is the only backup who even belongs in the league.

Because Belichick is the worst, all Brady, etc etc.

This is an impressive Boston Sports Radio take right here.

Look at the teams Jeanty played and how well he did against good teams. He will be mediocre at best. A bust in the first round.
That is what they said about Walter Payton.

That is what they said about Walter Payton.
A couple of things.
1) Source?
2) Walter Payton was drafted literally 50 years ago, when nobody scouted 1-AA schools, which is how the Steelers got fat in the 70s.
3) He went 4th overall...there was no doubt in anyone's mind about his ability.
4) Jeanty is not Walter Payton. Not even in the same universe. Stop trying to pretend that he is. It's not like he's leaps and bounds the best RB in this draft, he's not, never mind making him a hall of famer like you've tried to do this week.

My prediction is Will Campbell

Don't go out on a limb, now.

Seriously though, this poor kid has been the most scrutinized/criticized prospective first-round pick in Patriots history. Assuming he lands here, I hope we all can cut him some slack -- especially since he might eventually end up playing guard a year or two from now. It's not his fault that in any other year he wouldn't go anywhere near No. 4.

I don't want Campbell at #4. I just don't like hoping his poor measurables don't effect his ability to play a solid left tackle; with pick 4 in the 1st round of the draft I would expect to not have to worry about such an issue. At 4 if your position dictates certain measurables I expect those to be covered and the player to possess. If it's a pick down the board or a later round and you want to take a chance by all means take a shot. I just think the risk of him not working out at LT is to high . This team needs a lot. I draft a player who has a better shot of fulfilling and meeting the expectations of a very high 1st round pick.

They’re going to reach for one of the tackles which sucks. Membou or Campbell whoever they take will not be the best player on the board. It’s what it is and I’ve accepted the inevitability of it. I’m personally hoping for a trade down but since Sanders is dropping like a stone I’m not sure someone would take him at 4.

They just showed Vrabel and Kraft court side at the Cs game....does that mean they are letting Wolf do the work tonight?

Both Campbell and Membou are rated in the top ten in most draft boards.

Yes, he's organizing the catering and beverage service. But I did see a shot of Vrabel on his cell phone. I'm not much of a lip reader but I think he was talking to Pete Carroll.
