He has a no trade clause ,and I read that he is waiting till after the draft before deciding anything.
I'm thinking he doesn't want to go through last year again.

If the trade happens, she expects it will happen on Saturday. Nothing pending.
True, but any exchange of picks - especially for any type of notable trade - muddies the board and could change things depending on how it goes down.

I can’t see any team who needs Cousins not also drafting a QB as well.

Cousins should wait to be cut and go back up Purdy.

Cousins has to approve the trade, the receiving team will have to eat a lot of the money, the Falcons have to be completely committed to Penix. I don’t expect it to be a high pick for those reasons.

With his deal, is he even worth trading for? Wait for the Falcons to cut him.

Does anyone really want him?

Cousins is what he is and he should be happy he's made bank compared to the level of QB he's been.

And he should be happy he is sitting on an additional $155 million over the next 3 seasons. There is a potential out in 2026 for ATL. He should just sit tight and collect $$$.

He would be cut in 2026, not 2025. Some teams need a started in 2025.
Oh, is the dead money so bad for 2025 that the Falcons are considering keeping him another year?

And it's in his best interest to get playing time in 2025 , else falcons could just keep him a backup and cut him in 2026 and his pay will nosedive to single digit.

I think falcons have an advantage here

niners should trade for Cousins, then trade Purdy to Steelers and draft Sanders or Dart
I bet they could afford to wait and draft someone like Ewers. Kyle Shanahan could make Ewers into a decent starter in his offense IMO.
