First Meaningless 2025 Mock

I dunno. B+ for Carter at #4? Who was I supposed to take?

I redid the R1 and traded back with NO, took BPA Campbell, got a 2026 1st back but no day 2 pick. Gave me a B+ on the pick, A overall on draft value. Redid it again with Atl and took BPA Warren, got a 2026 1st again, a B+ again and an overall grade of a B+. Did it a third time, slid back with Bengals, same R1 for 2026, took position of need Barron and still got the B+, with an overall grade of B.

I am please you like the sim, and the value of the players seems more in line with what we are seeing with the "experts", but the grading seems completely rando to me. I know I am hung on up on it. It's fine I guess.
I tend to ignore the grading and just draft people on where I think they might go. I also won't draft someone if they're on the board ridiculously. Respect the board!

I will retweet this.

I did a mock where Carter and Hunter both dropped into the 12-15 range. Didn't take them, knowing they won't be that low IRL.

Sign me up for this one.

Traded back with the Jete for 7 and 42. Got the best TE room in the NFL now, and fixed LT at #38. Traded back again at #42 with the Falcons at picked up #118. Went with another TD scorer with Hampton, got Ozzy, big boy Alfred Collins for the DL and Restrepo for JMcD, and was ready to go home with that. I like Moore, Diggs was BPA and Jack Sawyer brings championship pedigree. Binky Lampkin who plays meaner than his size and a kicker to piss of Cap'n.

I passed on a bunch of WRs at #46, but I think with Restrepo and Diggs added to the room, they are in adequate shape to play on Sundays. Probably not great, but ok enough. Defenses will have to game plan around Hampton and Warren, making all the other pass catchers that much better. Conerly, Trapilo and Lampkin make it so now the OL is vastly improved, nigh a strength. If this was the draft they got, they'd be battling the Bills for the AFCE and wouldn't get pushed around by anyone in the NFL. They'd be back.

I eff'n love this draft.
One WR Dream on and the slowest one at that... Pass on O Hampton @ 46 that should be a @ WR. RB is too deep to take one so early; also Hampton's pass Blocking leaves a lot to be desired.

That's on brand for the high priest of the WR Cult.

It would be lovely if we can trade back in the first like this and still have a viable, athletic LT available at 38.
Right up my Draft alley I would climax if we had that Draft love those WR's.

King Tet - Jaylin Noel and Donte's Thornton Goodbye Bourne - Hollins and one of the Polk/Baker.

First one from me for a bunch of weeks, last one I'll do, I get kind of tired of doing these after a little while but it is fun. I only made one trade down (from 4 to 6 with the Raidahs), still got Membou (Campbell picked already but right now I'm leaning more towards Membou anyway), love the idea of 2 second rounders, felt like I covered the positions I wanted to through #69, from there I wanted a RB, DT, and OT double dip.

The Patriots can do better than that.. that is a late BB kinda draft.
Yeah I'm a little mixed on Burden I am not Taking a Tackle in the Third in favor of Burden in the First *flip that*. Williams - Noel and Royals are similar Receivers to Burden.

I don't want to wait until the back end of the first to get a LT. I certainly don't want to wait until the 3rd round. If Anthony Belton was good enough to be a starting LT in the NFL, he'd be a consensus first rounder, or early second at worst.

As for Stewart and Burden, I like the upside of both, but there are too many question marks on either for them to be our first two picks.

Ever heard of the Red Neck Dream Duo (RNDD) on the left side? Nasty competitors. Fishing buddies. Dippers. Rednecks.

Isn’t there a movie where Woody Harrelson says he loves rednecks?

I did this mock earlier and tried to stick to what I think might actually happen. I like the mock, but my grade was **** and Kiper sent me a message and said stop with this. Although I did not go and get the dallas 5th.

That ^ would be a nice Draft early on expect for that Second Rounder: no way I' passing on Josh Simmons if he's available. Imagine getting Membou and Simmons: RT and LT would be set for years to come. Let's recap...

Membou RT

Simmons LT

Alfred Collins DT

Tre Harris WR

I see what you did there although I think I'd rather have Donovan Jackson or Tate Ratledge at 38 if we're going in that direction. And surely, Tate Ratledge's mullet qualifies him as a redneck?
