What positions would you like to see drafted

Lt will need drafted purely out of need, really can’t avoid doing this at some point in the first couple rounds unfortunately. Question is do they feel confident in Campbell or membou as LT or do you take one from the next tier if you can position yourself at the end of rd 1.

Dt/edge/hb are supposedly where its at in this draft. These should be taken in rds 2-5 unless carter is there at 4, hopefully one of each. We should all but complete the defense by landing one more edge rusher and DL depth provided that truly is the strength of the draft.

Whatever else we draft, like said above just make sure you’re getting a good value and player, no need to force anything.

Rookies sign 4 years deals. Forecasting past this upcoming year and the next one puts you halfway through that rookie deal and, at this time, these are the only guys under contract for week 1 2027 that I expect to be starting caliber:

Drake Maye
Christian Gonzalez
Carlton Davis
Milton Williams
Christian Barmore if he's healthy
maybe Keion White if he learns how to set the edge or settles on the inside, likely a rotational guy though vs. true starter IMO
maybe Spillane if he's worth keeping on the 3rd year of his deal
maybe Dugger and/or Peppers but I'm kind of iffy on them TBH

Diggs, Landry, Moses all signed 3 year deals they they seem likely to get cut after 2. Maybe same applies to Davis and Spillane but I like their chances better.

We're coming off a 4-13 season, so expecting to go all out for the short term doesn't make sense. And our long term is pretty much a blank slate right now. There really isn't a position that I DON'T want help at. If I had to prioritize positions though, I'd say that the obvious LT and WR (specifically X receiver) are at the top and I would also throw EDGE in there because it's such a premium position, but it's such a blank slate that I really just want to play the draft board and go BPA all the way through.

The draft, by most accounts, is strong and deep at DT, RB and TE so even though they aren't immediate needs, they seem like spots to address. Per the list above, RB and TE are still medium/longer term needs and while DT potentially has Williams/Barmore/White for the long haul, there's some question marks there (Williams on a new team, Barmore health, White settling in at one position) and there's a serious skill set deficiency vs. the run anyway there.

I think in an ideal world they'd get a high end starting LT at #4, a legit X receiver in the 2nd, and then capitalize on the depth of the draft at RB/TE/DT in the 3rd and 4th round. Straight BPA after that because you can't worry about needs in the 5th round. It might be that there isn't a starting caliber LT they believe in at #4 though and maybe the X receivers get taken ahead of them. So they have to be willing to pivot of course.

OT - 2
RB
WR
Edge
FS
CB - 2
I think your the first poster that has CB-2. Obviously there is no right or wrong here unless someone says we don't need anything on the O line

My ideal draft.

#4 Travis Hunter - WR (and maybe some CB every now and then) or trade down and get a WR and OL with the pick.
#38 Grey Zabel - C/OL or Josh Simmons - OT
#69 - Donovan Jackson - G
#77 - Donovan Ezeiruaku - EDGE
#106 - Tre Harris - WR

Also sign Tyron Smith - OT in FA... and sign Scherff- OG while we're at it.

If the team drafts well, Maye is an elite QB, and Vrabel is a great HC,should the team be SB Contenders by 2027?

Just curious where everyone sees the timeline as.

Mason Taylor & Elijah Arroyo are two underrated TE’s I’d like to draft in the mid- later rounds; especially Taylor. I doubt he lasts past the late second round after his Pro Day.

OT x2
WR

Edge

SOLID (or better) LT. #1 (or high end #2 caliber) WR. And after that, any other position so long as they are truly good if not better than that players.

As early as the 2026 season potentially if the hit the next 2 drafts. 2025 is about hitting the draft, getting bad contracts off the books and getting this team 1 playoff game. If they accomplish those things this year is a success.

Vrabel seems to have done a credible job of reconstituting the team. Drake Maye does have a great arm and athletic ability. However, until I see he doesn't self-destruct late in games I have to maintain a cautious wait and see. I'm not ready to anoint him yet. The pressure is focused on him now. Presumably he will have another second or two to make a throw. I hope that makes the difference and he becomes Brady Light.

Since, on average, you are getting 2 starters out of a draft I think after best available at 4 (hopefully is Hunter as WR) you have to get an OT/WR with the next pick. If somehow they end up with Carter then you probably need one of the 3rd round picks to be OT/WR and hope you beat the odds on that pick.

Otherwise just draft the best prospect on your board at the time of picking. You should not be drafting for position in the last 4 rounds of the draft, hit rate is so low just take the highest rated player on your board.

Depending on how the top 3 picks fall then....

LT
WR
DT
RB
TE
