You don’t say!
You would think by now after all the wide receiver draft busts we’ve had, fans would learn that divas make better wide receivers than the Boy ScoutsFlies in the face of recent reporting that said the Pats were avoiding "diva" WRs who demand the ball
Worth mentioning. The other one being that Josh’s brother Ben was his WR coach last year.As a tight ends coach.. lol
I don’t mind Diggs being a guy who wants the ball if they take a tackle at the top of the draft and so Diggs needs to be the guy who gets the ball.I don't mind Diggs being a guy who wants the ball if the Patriots draft a WR who turns out to be elite, he's going to be a diva who wants the ball.
Good players want the ball, if you want players who don't want the ball you have a WR room like the Patriots.
You don’t say!
You are surprised that “reports” are wrong?Flies in the face of recent reporting that said the Pats were avoiding "diva" WRs who demand the ball
Why would you put a condition like that on the player. What ********?This is actually surprising.
Maybe Vrabel and Diggs can come to an understanding. You get an incentive laden deal and if you start your ******** then you’ll never see that money. But if you can be a team player then you will be our legitimate WR1, you’ll rack up very nice stats and be rewarded for it.
The offense they ran in Houston the last couple years has some similarities to what McDaniels runs (his brother is the WRs coach there, so Diggs may already know Josh) and he’s probably a good fit from that perspective. He actually looked very good last year before he got hurt. He stepped right in for Nico Collins which is no small feat.
I’m speaking from the standpoint of locker room cultureWhy would you put a condition like that on the player. What ********?
We want receivers who want the ball and speak up when they don’t get it not receivers who can’t get open and are polite
