Next Sop Tetairoa McMillan's Pro Day

Who suggested he wasn't? He didn't run at the Combine because he could not run a 4.5. He trained hard to do it. Its all about technique. It has nothing to do with his game play. He isn't running a 40 off the blocks in a game. If you want to see T Mac, watch his tape. Thats who he is.
There's a reason they have these opportunities to separate themself or in some cases take a second look. It's also a chance to get to know the person.

Wanna be the Bengals? Build the LoS. keep your QB upright, let him cook. Don't get me wrong, it's exciting... but they need to fix the line. Keeping the QB upright makes everyone better. Look at the Eagles.
The eagles? You mean the team with AJ Brown and Devonta Smith? Our current group of wide receivers couldn’t shine the shoes of those two guys

Best line of scrimmage on both side of the ball.

Go away, troll.

He was consistently mocked to the Patriots and Raiders pre combine.

Then when he didn't run, people dropped him. I'd agreed that that was stupid. I can understand having some doubts but hes a guy you've seen on film do it, and do it for a long time. It wasn't even a bad time - it was no time.

But the workout process does have value. It absolutely can impact where a player gets drafted. That can be good or bad for Teams. You can move a guy like John Ross up and get burned. Or someone like Amon Ra falls because he didn't light it up.

Hopefully the Patriots make the right decision, whatever it is.
He was not consistently mocked at 4. That is silly.

Obviously and he is still not the #4 pick.

McMillan was one of the top picks to the Patriots.

It was always Campbell, McMillan, or Graham at 4 unless Carter/Hunter fell. Why do you think people have discussed McMillan at 4? Because it's been a consideration since the draft order was set.

Here's a link to a small article that listed a few TMac destinations. 3 of the mocks had him to the Patriots.

Edit: a threat to Mac McClung?

People have discussed because they are silly and the media creates crap for clicks. Its amazing how the media gets to create where players go in the draft based on fake news. Campbell was the pick, but he has short arms. Can't do that. Graham's came is light and has a marshmallow build. Can't do that. Tet is too slow. Can't do that. Dante likes Campbell. He is back in. Tet is now fast. Blah blah blah. It is all useless media crap. It fills time and makes money until that draft. Thats all.

Don't get me wrong, its great to research players and gain info. Mock drafts are fun. But it all means nothing. The team will pick who they want when they want and the first round will looking nothing like the Mocks. Oh sure, there will a few good guesses, and then the Bo Nix and Michael Penix picks will cause an outrage. LOL.

He beat up like 4 weakass teams to inflate his #'s.
He's probably going to be a good player, but he's not Malik Nabors.
That guy beat guys consistently with CHUMPS chucking it.

I am excited by his times too, and definitely want to consider him at #4, but they need to get a LT and keep Drake upright too. Let's wait until next month throw out Campbell int he trash.
Taking Tet at 4 instead of a LT is a fkn disgrace IMO.
YOU can't throw The ***** the ball if you're on your ass.
That's a FKN fact, I've tried it here, I can only throw it a couple of yards....

Interesting how you say “LT” and not an actual players name because you know there is no left tackle in the draft worth drafting at 4. The only thing worse than passing on yet another superstar WR is drafting a LT that fails to become an actual nfl tackle. If Hunter falls to 4, we better run up onto the stage and do cartwheels of joy. If we pass on Hunter, our entire front office should be fired instantly.

What about the Vikings?? Sam Darnold won 13 games being carried by two star wide receivers Jordan Atkinson and Justin Jefferson. Let’s see what Darnold record is in Seattle this year without receiving weapons

You're telling me a Second and Third get's us bail in the First?? I will believe it when it happens.
Rich Hill points model says our 2nd and highest 3rd could land us somewhere in the mid 20s. Just need a dance partner who thinks they can land a similar player at 38.

Not an insignificant grain of truth here

Tet is a good receiver. My problem isn't his testing or speed. It's his ability to play the X. He's more of a power slot (and very very good there) than a true outside receiver who can win against press. Could he develop into that? Absolutely. But I don't see him doing it that much on tape. He's an upgrade on what we have, but he's not the guy everyone always wants.

Not yet. He might just get there. I'd still prefer other players at 4, but I've come around to him after a modest trade down in the top ten. Still prefer Higgens in the late first for an X receiver, however.
