Good morning Steve, feel better now?

Ya. A little.

I don't understand the need to report the agent. It's like one big ***********. No one gives a ****. Literally no one is filling stadiums to see Drew freakin' Rosenhaus ink a deal.

The other thing ... "reported by me and ______" again, no one gives two flying fekks. No one buys a ticket to see Shefty or any of these other ****s tweet. Self important sanctimonious BS.

Rant over. Good morning everyone!
If the reporter doesn’t say the agent, the agent will give the scoop to another reporter who will.

Other players see the size of the deal and who the agent was, and say, “I want to hire this guy.”

It sucks, but that’s why it happens.

I think the “reported by me and X” is a professional courtesy so all reporters can stay in the press box and press rooms without brawls breaking out….

According to this site Denver is offering an estimated annual value of $11 million

It doesn't say that it what they have definitively offered. It seems like an estimate.

"The potential contract, estimated at an annual value of $11 million, positions Kupp as both a strategic acquisition and a veteran presence for the offense."

Who needs Kupp? Some on here still seem to think that a 6th round midget out of Liberty is the future of the franchise. No offence to young Pop, but as long as he remains key to your offence then you have no offence which will worry a functioning NFL defence.

I understand the why, I don't have to like it. Grandstanding BS.

Who thinks this?

Plenty. As I've said, nothing against the wee man but for me he's the kind of player you want to almost forget is here, but every so often he'll get a few snaps and do something. Still too many mentions of him being a key starter. We need to aim much higher than that.

We can outspend both and neither are really contenders.
Broncos made the playoffs. So far Bo Nix is winning! Would love to see Kupp come to NE but watching him here live in Denver would be fun too.

Name names?

I hope he retires, but can understand if he wants to go on playing.
He went to college in Georgia and I believe he still lives there in the offseason. ATL lost their center (Dalman) to the Bears in free agency. Off the top of my head, that could make sense if he wants to keep going. One year vet stop gap in case they don't get a day 1 starter in the draft, with the idea he can eventually pass the baton.

I think it's most likely he retires though. He's made good money, dealt with injuries. Not sure he wants to sign for relative scraps in NFL terms for one year with a new team/system that will be looking to yank him for a younger first chance they get.

I know the team was 4-13 the last 2 years and the locker room wasn’t necessarily the best, but that’s 4 team captains who are now gone in Brissett, Andrews, Jones and Wise. I wonder if the new signings will get instant credibility with their teammates? Some players are going to need to step up to fill the void.
