Golden's 4.3 shot him up the draft boards.
Isaiah Bond was probably the better receiver, similar size, and his 4.4 (which most people who watched Texas would tell you seemed slow), can be had in the 2nd.

I like Golden as a player and think he'll be a good pro, I like Bond better, I think he's more ready to go, and is a better route runner.

We'll see if we get either.
I think Golden is a better WR but no chance he is faster than Bond. He for sure has a more efficient track start, but he isn't fast than Bond. I am not a big Bond guy but would tickled to see Maye throwing to Bond.

Absolutely. Everyone here knows the WR corp is below average, much like the rest of the team. Can’t fix everything in one offseason.
But our most important player..Drake Maye, needs development and can’t do that with C level players at WR

We just gave a RT a huge contract in FA and we’ve already invested heavy draft capital at G. You go explosive playmaker who can score touchdowns at 4th overall and look for a hidden gem left tackle in round 2.
I’m praying Hunter is there.

You gave a 34 year old a 2 year contract for Wal-Mart Clearance Rack money.

I’m not disagreeing with the playmaker. Would absolutely love that. Moses at RT is fine. Onwenu at RG is fine. The other three spots need to be addressed. Strange maybe, Wallace maybe gets a shot at G. As much as I want Maye to develop with WR, I want him alive more.

28 Million Guaranteed Walmart clearance rack money?

It's 11 million guaranteed, up to 8 million/yr, 3rd year is basically a team option.

Yes, it's Wal-Mart clearance rack money.

The offensive line is a much bigger problem than WR.

I’m still laughing at the fact that the Pats signed away the Jets’ starting RT that they were trying to keep (Morgan Moses), so the Jets replaced him with… Chuks Okorafor
Well…..

They THINK they replaced him with Chuks.

Getting him into camp and keeping him there, is a whole other argument.

He might be hoping that once the checks start coming, they might just forget about him.

For what its worth, every single mock draft I do, Hunter is there.
I checked 9 mock drafts, a small sample, but including Yahoo, Jeremiah, Drafttek and several at CBS)
Only a couple of CBS folks had Hunter available.

Assume Free Agency was cancelled. Frustrating. Looks like Operation Weaponize Offence is delayed indefinitely.
