Maybe there’s a chance…

Wolf... isn't in charge any more???

He’s knows that, he’s just making believe it’s Wolf because it sounds better than criticizing Vrabel. Same goes for Love The Drake, who has been told Vrabel is in charge at least a dozen times, but keeps pretending otherwise.

JC Horn just got an extension for 4 years, 100 million over the weekend

How do we have two completey different takes on the same player on opposite sides of the spectrum?

I don't know a whole lot about this player but I do know that when I was watching the Lions their defensive backs were absolutely ****ing torched. That's the extent of the information my brain holds.
Davis was a liability in Tampa and was awful in Detroit. He gives up a lot of yards without making many plays.

He's going to piss off a lot of posters next season.

The 'completely refitted 767s' with the ashtrays still in the armrests is my favorite.
As a smoker mine too and who doesn't want to relax with a blunt after a semi hard fought loss. LMAO

Maybe the reporting was wrong but we were told two things ahead of free agency. There would be a focus on the trenches and that the top targets were Williams, Godwin and Stanley. We haven’t achieved much yet then on that basis. The cupboard is already bare at LT.

My prompt was too simplistic....I re-did it.
The only other thing I would add to this is that there are only a handful of states in the NFL when it comes to no income tax, very few.

So the difference between Mass. and most NFL states is something on the order of 10% MA (5% for the first million) to 4-8%. Some cities have additional income taxes as well (when I lived in State College PA working as a TA, it sucked to see the local township tax my income at a 5% rate, so they took $300 of my $6k annual salary, while I paid $0 to the state of PA and the federal gov't.).

I'm just wondering what wide receiver you think that they're going to grab?

Honest question. Who's out there that's going to make a difference?
There's a couple vets that are better than what's here now. Cooper or Slayton maybe. I know Cooper is on the wrong side of 30, but he'd be miles better than anyone already in Foxboro.

They signed two run stoppers in Landry and Spillane. Let’s see if anything else happens.

Landry shouldn’t hurt the pass rush either.

Baby steps, the team is better today than it was yesterday. Still need more of course.
What about that DT that's the same size as Williams? He's 6'3 and 290. And is predicted to cost less and was with our DC in Detroit. I forget his name.

Levi Onwuzurike That's his name.

They can do that but still
Have
I've been biting this back over the last several weeks as I seen the millionaire tax posts. Most folks that fall into the category that the tax would like to impact feel little to nothing from it. Having other LLCs, using depreciation, other tax planning advantages decimate taxes to the point that 7 to 8 digit and above income folks can be paying low single digit in taxes. These players all have access to business and tax planners that can make the millionaire tax mean nothing.

A lot easier to do when you are wealthy from a successful business or companies you have started. When you are a pay check employee, you can get creative, but no where near when you have a large amount of assets and business spread out.

Not to mention, these same accounting tricks can be used in the states with low income
Taxes, negating most gain you may be hinting at.
