Do you want Will Campbell at 4 assuming Hunter and Carter are off the board?

Combine this with the story that the Pats, despite interest, didn't get in on the Thuney trade might suggest Will Campbell is the pick. Why trade for Thunk when they have someone pencilled in at LG that can a) backup Ronnie Stanley and b) possibly be his long-term replacement.
Talk about a loser mentality.

We passed on a HOF because we are gonna miss out on the 2 blue chippers and have to settle on the guy with the shortest arms and wingspan.

Not if you know that if he's unsuccessful, they have a ready made spot for him on the inside. I wouldn't do it if they didn't get Stanley though.
What if they don’t get Stanley (which is what I expect) but “settle” for Cam Robinson, Dan Moore, or Jedrick Wills?

If we miss out on the two blue chippers, we're going to 'settle' anyway. Why not settle on the one who provides leadership and football IQ and will, at the very worst, probably lock down a position for the next decade?

Then we'll probably be discussing available LTs all next spring.

We make a trade down, future 1sts or for a player. That's the way you don't settle. If there's no buyers than select the higher upside Membou or Stewart IMO.

Well I have both ahead of Campbell but I'm not in the front office. I'm thinking about what they will do, not what I want them to do.

I know we need to infiltrate the warroom.

Hmmm gotta disagree with that. Thuney was hardly a cant miss deal for the patriots. He's old and on a 1 year contract that they probably wouldnt want to resign why waste any capital on that? Maybe they want Campbell, maybe not, but i wouldnt tie that decision with Thuney.

I've talked myself out of Stewart at 4. I hear you on the upside, and the physical gifts. I look at him like I am looking at The DK Metcalf situation. Is he good? Yup. Is he an unreal athlete? Yup? Has it translated to the level of dominance that it should? Not really.

Anyone look like Wolf?

Looks like Luke Goedeke is the 3rd tackle with sub 33" arms. 32 1/4, even smaller than Campbell. 30th ranked tackle according to PFF.

And none of the others are real good either.

Numbers matter.

Dante doesn't seem too concerned about arm length - his method is to wait to punch with both hands until the guy is already on you.

well so it depends on the technique teached, meaning that the forum mistery arm length doesn't matter because Dante said so heavily depends on the technique taught by the o-line coach.
