Has done well for himself in Tenn... not great but well enough...

any interest? Flip the Judon 3rd? slight overpay really, but we could use another linebacker...

I would say a 4th. Titans want to cut cap.

Our New Judon and much younger too 31.5 sacks in three years: yeah I'm sold.

I'd send a 4th, maybe a 3rd. Not too old yet (29), racks up around 10 sacks a year. Obviously knows Vrabel. Not really a "premium" guy but very solid, and they need that. His salary is a little high at $17M the next two years, which will keep some bidders away. Of course they could restructure that with an extension.

I think we should be in on all of these. Landry, Allen. kupp, Samuel.
It would be a smart way to use the huge cap space we have to bring in veteran players.

We have cap space simply because we don’t have enough veteran players taking a lot of it up. This is a want to accelerate the improvement of the team.

Preach AJ preach that's how e built the First Dynasty: proven vets with young players.

Don’t judge him on sacks alone, because the rest of his pass rush stats aren’t nearly as pretty. I’d say he’s significantly more likely to be traded than Jonathan Allen, but still a decent chance he’s just cut.

Yup we should pretty much be considering anything at any position other than QB.

Now maybe you dig deeper and find a reason to say no but on the surface I'm considering it all.

Music to my ears.. I can see him being a Patriot.. wouldn't do the 3rd maybe a 4th....? Bye bye Tavai... LMAO.

Id be 100% on it, but he did say this after vrabel was replaced. Not sure if it actually means anything or if he was just talking up the new guy.

I wouldn't give up any draft pick for him. If he gets cut and wants to come here, then that's one thing. Picks in the first four rounds are too valuable, especially if Vrabel's personnel staff under him can actually properly evaluate the potential of players in this and future drafts better than the team has done in the last several years. I'm not opposed to trading a pick(s) for a player. But not for someone that could possibly be cut and we'd not have to give up anything other than money for them.

Vrabel talked about the two things players look for in free agency... money and opportunity. We have both. We have a completely empty depth chart in terms of edge rushers if you assume Vrabel will play White inside on passing downs like he should. That means we have probably more OPPORTUNITY to offer guys at that position than any other in free agency.

There probably isn't a more attractive team in the NFL for pass rushers seeking a one year deal to get playing time and pass rush snaps to try free agency again next year. Landry is set to make $17.5M this year. No thanks to that. For the $17.5M Landry would cost, I bet we can cover most of the cost of giving two similar caliber players one year deals with attainable sack incentives.

Maybe if Landry would rework his contract to something tenable long term, but based on some of the metrics shown above and the comments complaining about Vrabel's "culture", is he someone we'd want as a long term piece?

After reading the article, it absolutely sounded more like he wasn't happy with Vrabel, more than it was trying to prop-up the new guy. No thanks.

Vrabel will know exactly what to do with Landry.
I think if he wants him a 5th or 6th would be more than enough to get it done.
I suspect Titans are planning to cut him if no trades materialize
