Kermit is now 0-1 against Kenny Pickett in Super Bowls. Yikes

NFL posts a highlight video on youtube with Kermit padding his stats in a blowout and it's getting destroyed in the comments lmao

I have the dislike counter browser extension and right now there's about a 6:1 ratio of dislikes to likes

Love TB12 at 2:15 making sure the viewers knew the 50 yarder was against the Eagles reserves. Lolol

Strange there was no replay of that to see how close it was. And NFL Officiating HQ didn’t step in. Or maybe this is one of the plays they can’t automatically review.
When I saw that I thought immediately that he was over the line. I was shocked they missed it and thought the Philly should have challenged that . Is that a play that is not allowed to be challenged ?

Brady teams never got a chance to play vs Montana led teams.
Problem for the Chiefs stans and a big problem is that we saw Brady and the Pats beat Kermit and the Queefs in the AFCCG AND Brady/Bucs putting belt to ass in the Superbowl. Yes they don't play each other, but TB12 never folded. Also when you play 23 years you were bound to lay eggs eventually in the playoffs lol Queefs fans also have to realize the Queefs have been extremely fortunate(as most dynasties are) with injuries throughout their run. They've also had continuity. Let's see how they bounce back but at least for now the GOAT convo should he put on hold until Kermit reaches at the minimum 6
Need to be careful too because if if he loses another one and drops to 3-3 I’d say that’s pretty relevant. You’d have to do mental gymnastics at that point

It's one of my new favorite things. Had no idea how fun that was going to be. Best thing to do is just try to be simultaneously as empathetic and condescending as you possibly can.

Something to the effect of "I remember when Brady was just 3-2 that was a very tough loss to handle but thankfully the next 4 wins made it a distant memory. Don't worry you'll get there one day too."
They’ll never admit it but this loss hurt some of them a lot because they now face Mahomes being 3-2 in superbowls. If Mahomes got to 4-1 then they could have said that “well Mahomes got to 4-1 which beats Brady in that regard.” Imagine if he falls to 3-3?

the 2007 Patriots were not bullies... we were benevolent dictators

Too benevolent, apparently. Should've been "with our reign we will unleash the four horsemen upon the league, we will end careers of coaches and GM's, our reign will eviscerate viewer ratings as it becomes a forgone conclusion that we are the alpha and omega, and any helmet catches will be followed by a dismantling of limbs from the same torso upon which that helmet and head lie" dictator.

If we had won, i would have said "Ruthless Dictators"

but alas...

By the way, being in position to go 19-0 is more impressive than being in position for a three peat imo. We’ve gone to three straight superbowls too with us winning two of three. The loss saw Brady throw for 500 yards

The relevant point you are leaving out is that the Eagles will now be perennial Super Bowl contenders as long as Jalen Hurts and that nasty Eagles D-line stays together. Mahomes doesn't do well against top tier competition. He lost to Brady head to head twice and I have the feeling that Hurts has the measure of him now. Dude KNOWS he can beat Mahomes on the biggest stage now.

Brady's career spanned two dynasty's worth, he was able to reinvent himself and win with different team compositions and different rivals. Can Patrick Mahomes continue to adopt and evolve as he gets older or has he already hit the wall of what he can do and will end up getting beaten by Hurts and the like in big games now?

The thing is, Mahomes really just needs a decent offense. They didn't just downgrade to an early-era Brady offense, they were patched together with the skeletons of Hopkins and Schuster, and a dying Kelce.

If he has a decent OL and pretty good receivers, Mahomes is in the driving seat. He is very very very good and the best by a longshot. I think even Brady would've looked rattled with that patchwork.

I want to believe his reign is over but if they can draft a good offense (which they've struggled with this entire time, I feel like that doesn't get mentioned much) and pick up some FA.... They're the team to beat all over again.

The early proclamation of GOAT for Mahomes has been put down in very embarrassing fashion. So glad the Eagles dominated Mahomes and showed the world that he's a flawed QB when he can't play his brand of sandlot football.

Tbf there was a time people said that about Brady.

He was 3-2 since 2011 and was off the field with Seattle at the goal with an All Pro back facing the prospect of 3-3.

Brady got a bit of a break and then overcame it and it began a second run of 4 SB’s in 7 years.

Ball is now in Mahomes court to show he can handle a punch in the teeth and work beyond it. That’s the good and bad thing about sports, they can be cruel and humble you, they can also give you chances to reveal true greatness

SB 51 he became the GOAT
SB 49 you still had bozos saying Montana was perfect in SBs
It was very 50-50. People were heavily debating both of them. Reporters were literally interviewing him on the field on national television the night of SB 49 asking him how it felt to now be the GOAT.

It was more like Brady was the guy except some holdouts clinging to whatever they could. There’s still some old timers out there who will go “blah Montana was perfect and he never so much as threw an interception in a SB”.

I wonder if the Chiefs are so used to not getting penalized for egregious calls and knowing that almost whatever they do the laundry is going to come out and help them when needed. Last night they saw that BS OPI call on Brown and probably were like, okay they still got us.

Then the first couple calls starting not going their way on 3rd and longs. Holding calls, not one roughing the passers..and gasp they held the Chiefs from snapping for a possible substitution.

The Chiefs finally got called like a legit NFL team and they had no idea how to react. They have for years been conditioned to the NFL giving them the nudge they needed and playing loose with the rules that they got steamrolled when they were called properly. Question now is, will the NFL go back to it's ways next year?

I don't know.

They legit won 4/6 games of bad calls it’s crazy

Drake Maye didn’t have a problem scoring against the Eagles. Just sayin…

Yeah, it's such a tired narrative. It's easy to not throw an interception when you're playing the dogshit from the AFC in the 14 straight NFC winners years. Just because those Cincinnati games were close, doesn't mean Cincinnati was good.

Montana never beat a team as good as the 2014 Seahawks. The 88 Bears weren't the 85 Bears by a long shot, and when he did play those defenses, that's when he conveniently went on his one-and-done arc.
