By percentage of quality posts this is one great thread. Good work.

Tom Brady played in 10 Super Bowls. He won 7, lost 3. All three of those losses were single possession games that he could’ve won.

I think Mahomes is a legend in his own right but despite three titles and an incredible run he got wrecked twice in Super Bowl losses. That never happened to Brady and never would have.

I don’t truly blame Mahomes for this loss. He made some massive mistakes but his receivers could not get open, his line couldn’t block, his backs couldn’t run, his defense couldn’t hold. He was screwed.
Two horrible INT's leading directly to 14 points and a blowout loss in the SB, his 2nd blowout SB loss. GOAT's never have 1 performance like that, let alone 2.

Patty will be 30 next September and is still 4-1 behind it was a debate that was always way to premature. At the same time I'm kind of glad it did get discussed because in one night that window seems to have slammed completely shut and just goes to show how absolutely insanely great Brady is. It's untouchable.

Montana never lost like that in a SB.

Thought I remember hearing something about the Chiefs having the worst point differential of any #1 seeded team in the Super Bowl era or something of that nature. They got exposed hard tonight by the Eagles. Good stuff!

Mahomes’ point differential in all Super Bowl appearances combined is negative 23

Yeah, Brady might have lost three Super Bowls, but in two of them, he scored the go ahead touchdown with a few minutes left in the 4th quarter, and in the other one, he set the Super Bowl record for yards, while also tossing 5 TDs

They are not the same

Another thought comes to mind...the GOAT talk slammed in Peyton's face after he got his **** pushed in against Seattle. Even getting his corpse dragged to a SB win a couple years later couldn't revive it.
