First Meaningless 2025 Mock

every mock i run i'm able to get T Zabel in the 2nd.....although his stock is rising at the senior bowl, i just wonder if the gap between the top couple tackles and guys like zabel or hollin pierce is big enough to take a tackle early
Zabel isn't going to be a tackle, he almost exclusively worked out on the interior at the Senior Bowl. As for Hollin Pierce, he looks good in pass pro but watch him trying to run around the field. He is so slow. I rewatched his tape and in space, defenders would just run around his attempts to block them. The next tier after the first rounders are Ersery, Cameron Williams, Milum, Benton and maybe Trapilo. All four are not day one starters (maybe Ersery) at LT but then the guys at the top are not elite LTs either. Simmons and Campbell won't win many pro-bowls but they do solve the position need in my view beyond that, I think there may still be questions at the position moving forward.

it seems like there are only a couple that are projected day 1 starters, and all of them need work......and with strange likely moving to C, interior upgrades are still a win lol......if most need work, just wondering how far they'll be willing to dig to address OL.......there's so many roster holes, this really feels like a draft where quantity is going to rule the day

a lot is going to depend on how FA shakes out.......i really have to expect the big needs at OT are going to be 'addressed' via FA, making the focus in the draft at OL upgrades; guys like zabel with versatility seem to be a plus vs taking a chance on a pure project T, if that makes sense

which is why all the mocks are truly meaningless until we know what holes are filled prior. still fun, but meaningless nonetheless lol

I like the WR Bond pick. He is going to be solid in the NFL

there's little chance he's around that deep from what i'm reading.......there's talk of him climbing well into the top half of the first.....but he's quickly becoming someone i like

meaning i just started paying attention to him yesterday and now i want him

Yeah i talked him up during the CFP and he showed out. Perhaps he stays another season if it weren't for that.

Are you sure you're not mixing him up with Matthew Golden? He's the Texas WR getting first round love.

Love the way he disappeared in the College postseason no thanks.

Bro you're impossible to please lol. Bond has all the skills I look for in a Z. He'd instantly be our most explosive WR. Are you going to hold AJ Brown's post-season against him, too? Go look at his game logs prior to the championship. You have to look at traits, not react against something outside of his control.

Day 3 maybe: give me Matthew Golden or give me death.

When you have the most Explosive RB in the game why would you even think of passing it?? Barkley should be the NFL MVP: the Giants are still kicking themselves for not tagging him SMH.

Well I find it sexy: That could be one of my mocks.

Let's hope so. I would prefer to overpay for a FA than overdraft a prospect based on need.

We can believe there is an upgrade over Strange in the draft, but I hope 1. We pick BPA, not for need, 2. We pick BPA to fill holes, not upgrades. God knows we have plenty of holes.
