Ok, you are entitled your opinion on this. Suffice it to say I feel that we were all done a great disservice when it comes to how COVID was handled, including mandatory VAX.
Excuse me Stu, but are you saying that you believe that it is the individual's right to decide whether to vaccinate or not during a pandemic? Doesn't that make a mockery of making an effort to vaccinate at all. Why do it if it isn't mandatory. Why not just let the disease run its course and bury the dead when it's over and take a Darwinian view of pandemics. sort of like the Black Plague during Dark Ages.

Do you believe that you have a right to send children to school without childhood vaccinations that wiped out measles and NOT let other parents know that you've made that decision for THEM. Of course, now that measles is back and a threat, does that make antiVaxers feel better because their individual rights were maintained.

Not saying you believe that personally, Stu, but your comment made it unclear. Would you have NOT mandated Vaccinations? Just curious

I think we are missing an important question that needs to be answered before we hire a new OL coach.

What kind of blocking scheme will be running for this offense? Are we going to go with a zone scheme or a power scheme, because whatever we are going to do, we need a coach who excels at THAT kind of scheme. That is going to be a JMD decision and will go a long way to determine who will be the final hire for that critical decision.

Hasnt the final hire already been made?

What the **** does this have to do with the Patriots? The last thing I want to read on a Patriots forum is some dude talking about how he wants to strap my kids down and inject them with a vaccine against my will so grandma can live to die of the flu next year. Take that Orwellian **** elsewhere. I hear Bluesky is the place for guys like you.

Marone is a good hire. He's been an OL for a long time.

Ken - I love you man, but this should be done either in DM or in the Pub.

One thing to note its that insofar, this is a complete 180° over Mayo's "buddy approach"

While I do like the direction where its going, both collectively and individually, the reeks of some sort of whiplash might start passing through for players come the season . Changing too much, too quickly is dangerous, when we talking about a "places culture" even more so.

In head picture, Mayo only occupied the HC position bc opportunity arose. Meaning, this supposed "self-accounting" type of growth, bigger separation of coaches/position player, and leaders trying to maintain the course, rather than leading, must have been brewing for awhile.

We'll see. If Maye falls in line, everyone will too, i think

Also, i wondering why there were 6 pages for a OL coach

As a long-time foreigner (Im legal where I am I swear) but follower of politics in 3 continens, Im available to solve any problems regarding who's the bigger idiot

Why six pages? Because the OL is the most important unit on the field for 50% of the game...

Best case scenario, you never think about the OL coach... means the line has been playing well, for the most part... Over the last few years though, we have had a cast of characters in the role who weren't up to the task... and as a result, the line play has fallen off significantly... why? talent, injury, scheme, coaching, for whatever reason... the coach is the first part of the puzzle you can fix... hence you get six pages on the OL coach...
