All this speculation seems to be based on him not playing the last 3 weeks. When he returned mid-season, they were 3-7, had won two of the previous 3 games, and had a favorable schedule ahead. Then they lost all 4 games he played in, so at 3-11 maybe they all just said "what's the point?" He'd had no offseason, preseason, or early season to get himself into shape, and he wasn't playing his usual dominant style. There's no reason to assume his blood clots returned or anything like that.
I think there's a very good chance he comes back and at 100%.
