NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION NFL Divisional playoffs discussion

"Can" and "are". Two different concepts. Right now there is no comparison. Maye has the potential to be great. Right now Daniels is. Maybe his greatness will fizzle. But he has this year and it can't be taken from him. He played out of his mind.

Again, we wouldn't even be having this discussion if one of them didn't play for our team. Nobody hear is going to die on the hill that Bo Nix is better than Daniels.

Drake was fantastic for us. Daniel's wouldn't look any better.

The fact that you're so ready to admit you have Patriots bias says a lot.

Maye will be great. Comparing them is a waste of time.

The numbers besides the turnovers are extremely comparable when prorated for a full season. It's not a opinion. That's a fact.

Detroit ceased the moment.

Maye/Daniels is an apples/oranges comparison right now. Maye is more raw, 2 years younger and has half the games played in college as Daniels. That matters a lot.

NFCCG in Philadelphia next weekend.
Hurts versus Jackson Super Bowl

He's actually almost 3 years younger. I think its 2 years 9 months. Also Daniels has two full college seasons more than Drake of coaching.

There's no reason to compare them right now. Drake was in a highly unenviable position. Obviously the Redskins are a dumpster franchise the last 25 years but no one would realistically say that they don't have a better roster than the Patriots top to bottom.

I personally expect for Drake to be just as good as Jayden is now in 2 years. There's no reason to think that he won't meet the same standards.

Wow This is some inception level trolling.

Calling out the Chiefs fan who is likely headed to another SB but you already got our response/Trump card slapped on the table.

Daniels is in top 10 QB discussions right now. Maye is all potential right now. Hopefully he pans out.

Also the numbers aren't comparable.

100 passer rating vs 88 in a league where 90 is basically the threshold for good. Averages 35 more yards a game, has almost a full point higher in TD percentage and a full point lower in INT percentage. Higher completion percentage off over nearly a 150 more attempts.

Yeah you can't look at a guy who is better in every stat and say the numbers "are extremely comparable". Even prorated for a full season, Maye would come up short in every single statistic.

Oh and that's just passing. Daniels ran for twice as many yards as Maye and has 3x the rushing TD's.

And that's just looking at the numbers. One guy has 1 win and one guy has 12 plus a playoff win.

The only thing you can say right now is "Maye is younger and he's on a worse team". That's valid. It does not change what Daniels did this year and is not justification to put Maye ahead of him or on the same level based off pure potential.

That’d be a fun one. I’m pulling for Bills vs Commanders
I can't in good conscious root for the Bills. I don't care that they are lovable losers. You know the minute they win something their fans will become insufferable and talk about how they are the most recent AFC East team to win a SB and how they took the division from the Pats.

Remember when Buffalo lost to the Commanders in 91.

Prorate the numbers.

Include the fact that Maye has two games in which he essentially did not play.

Comparing them is a waste of time. I personally wouldn't be leaving a trail of evidence simping for Daniels over Maye over a couple playoff games in their rookie season.

It's not a diss on Daniels. He's been pretty good.

Like to see what he's look like with Polk and Pop Douglas and this coaching staff all season.

I'm guessing I know exactly what he'd look like.

They already took the division away lol I don’t really care about division rivalries at this point. Let them have their fun. The Pats aren’t good enough to worry about that. They don’t measure up historically until they win at least 4 titles, then we can begin to talk.

Please note that the Jete are exempt from this, they must continue to suffer

at least you’re not whining that I didn’t smooch Bill’s backside in my post. Progress….

Sorry… I’m not sold that the Chiefs make it to the SB. But if they do and they have to play the Lions they have a big problem because if Houston can run all over them Detroit will rush for over 200 yards.
That wont be a problem.

Drake will be very good...but he does not possess the wide range of skill Daniels has. Daniels is an elite runner, Maye is not. Daniels has elite accuracy at all levels, Maye does not. Daniels is clutch, Maye has yet to prove that,

So....as good as Daniels? I do not think so. Hope I am proven wrong

You should always smooch Bill
